  1. Just because he said something and it was printed, that doesn't make it fact. It does make it an alleged fact, which is what that poster actually said!
  2. Don't forget your own hyperbole... "Was there a trigger ? or is mindless violence on the increase ? or are racially motivated attacks on the increase ? etc... lots of possibilities... all worthy of discussion". Yes, lot's of hyperbolic possibilities, none worthy of discussion here in relation to the OP if trying to apportion blame without evidence!
  3. As there was no suggestion of that, whatsoever, the attack may not have been racially motivated.
  4. Because that's what Thaivisa posters are here for, surely, hypothesising, speculating and just plain making stuff up for a good ol' Thai-bash? Current company excepted, of course!
  5. Wasn't the consumption of alcohol on beaches made illegal some time ago? Perhaps that could have been the start of the altercation.
  6. The problem is that, at this stage, the suggestion that he "appeared to be drunk" is just that, a suggestion that has not been shown to be factual.
  7. In shackles, by prison staff. There lies the weak link, with the kind of mon ey and connections he has, it would be an easy task to overcome the 'prison staff' who were paid a princely sum to 'be caught off guard' while he is whisked away, on a plane and out of the country. There are ailments the Prison Medical staff can't take care of.......................This is not fantasy, it can happen. It is fantasy, it has not happened. It's all just your wild imagination.
  8. Referring Lazada to a forum whose members seem to take great delight, not in enlightenment but in regularly slagging off the company is hardly going to help your cause!
  9. Hahahahaa...! Of course they're non-plussed, how would anyone ever consider the loss of a couple of Thaivisa posters' business to be "enormous"?
  10. Doesn't matter. If they took it and wouldn't let him in when he tries what's the rest of the world gonna do? Impose sanctions? It does matter. I suppose they could impose sanctions if they wanted to but it's not what other countries would do it's the effect of what international law repercusions would be on Thailand. No country can make its own citizens stateless and no country would dare risk the consequences of the international outcry that would follow.
  11. It remains fascinating that you see "so many" violent instances simply because the so many peaceful 99% of instances involving Thai people aren't reported, for obvious reasons, they're peaceful and not newsworthy.
  12. 5555555! Good grief. Why would you take any notice of unsubstantiated social (nutter) media posts? Nothing untoward is happening. Nothing "needs to be investigated". Your allegation is not a major story, it's not even a minor story.
  13. Well 'Mr Liverpool Lou' you don't believe it then? I'm not telling lies either. Here's the text of Lazada's email to me - and I refused to do it as it would give anyone all the information needed to conduct a fraud. Then I deleted the card and added it, after which it worked perfectly again: Dear xxxxx xxxxx, Warm greetings from Lazada! Thank you for contacting us of case number 20500000477NNNNN This email is regarding your concern about Debit card payment rejected We do apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please kindly provide me the evidence to proceed further investigation. - Picture of ID card or Passport - 6 first digits and last 4 digits of credit card - Picture of credit card (back & forth) - 1 month statement After receiving all of the above evidence, I will co-ordinate to related team taking 3 - 5 business days. Then I'll update you in your registered email with Lazada. Well, "Mr DiDiChok", my comment only related to the adding of a debit card to your Lazada account. That email refers to a rejected debit card payment, two entirely different things. As I said, and that's all that I said, Lazada does not require bank account numbers or bank statements to add a debit card (for a payment facility) to a Lazada account. Thanks for confirming that I was right.
  14. Today my friend, he is in jail, tomorrow?? One never knows, methinks he will do a runner while out on a medical or some other reason. Unless he gets bail, how could he be "out on a medical" [sic]? Prisoners are not allowed out to see their doctor, they are treated at the prison's hospital if the need medical attention or they are escorted elsewhere, in shackles, by prison staff.
  15. Rewards are paid around the world for information leading the to the arrest/conviction of criminals. Does your city/state/country not pay rewards? Check out the USA FBI website for the list of rewards (some total over $10 million USD). - (edit) Seems like your home country (I'm guessing UK - "Liverpool") is part of the "wild west" as they have a reward program through their "crimestoppers" website. Seems like something you should have known...hmmmmm... me smells a troll. "Abduct him, illegally?"... Yes! Do you honestly think the Thai prosecutors will care how he ends up back in Thailand? - as long as he's there. Rewards are paid around the world for information leading the to the arrest/conviction of criminals. Rewards are not normally offered by Thai authorities. "Seems like your home country (I'm guessing UK - "Liverpool") is part of the "wild west" as they have a reward program through their "crimestoppers". website". No, the UK does not have "a reward programme". "Crimestoppers" is an independent charity, it has nothing to do with, nor is it funded by, the state. Seems like something you should have known if you looked at it's website! ""Abduct him, illegally?"... Yes! Do you honestly think the Thai prosecutors will care how he ends up back in Thailand?". Yes, I know for a fact that the prosecutors would care. Vorayuth's lawyers would have any conviction quashed if the case wasn't immediately thrown out of court. Those involved in his abduction would then be the ones being prosecuted. Thank God you don't work in any legal capacity.
  16. Simply based on the fact they turn a blind eye; - Last I read there was an International Arrest Warrant issued for him - Was his Passport not revoked? Yet seemingly he enjoys free passage in/out of territories (or could it be a case of he has lots of money) hence my ref to other countries You seem to have all the answers so just answer them two, Thanks Here's your answers. 1. There is no such thing as an "international arrest warrant" (read the Interpol website). Some people, wrongly, refer to Red Notices as such but they are just advices to member police forces, they are not arrest warrants and no members have any obligation to act on them. 2. Yes, his Thai passport was revoked 5 years ago. Thailand cannot revoke passports issued by other countries so he has free passage based on whatever passport he uses. Vorayuth is not wanted for any offences in any country except Thailand. You're welcome.
  17. That would be an easy enough fix, though, because they already have a paragraph that deals with loss of Thai citizenship, but it applies so far only to Thai citizens who have a foreign father, but were born in Thailand. Just add another appendix that says citizenship can be revoked if a Thai citizen flees the country to avoid prosecution and that’s that! Not "an easy fix" at all. In the circumstances that are being discussed here, international law prevents countries from revoking a national's citizenship if it would leave them stateless.
  18. It's not a matter of being bashful, it's a matter of your claiming that you always do something that Lazada specifically does not allow it's drivers to do. i.e. hand over items to customers to be opened without paying for them.
  19. "Pattaya is a high risk place to visit with all the old self entitled retiree's walking around with no masks on". It's only high risk for you if you're not wearing a mask, don't worry about others! And that's assuming that masks have any preventative qualities at all.
  20. It's "Cash on Delivery", not "Open it, then Pay if You like". You can refuse to accept the delivery but, officially, you can't examine/open it until you've paid for it. You're only supposed to get that option after you've coughed up the cash for it, then you can open it. Lazada drivers aren't there to take returns of opened unwanted items unless delivery is refused or cannot be made. If you don't want the item after you've paid for it, there's a proper procedure to return it.
  21. Excellent, best news I've read all day. Reciprocated. Thought you were "going to leave it at that"?!
