The APG is supported by the the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, OECD, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the UN's Counter Terrorism Executive Directorate, Asian Development Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat, INTERPOL and the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units so why wouldn't it be "for real"?

Had anyone tried having a baby in Thailand as a foreigner?

Paid by Police admin, the title of Lieutenant is not honorary, it is factual. His salary can be weighted to recognize his medical degree, this happens all over the world, except in your own head, it seems. Doctors at the Police Hospital, regardless of titles, are not paid by the RTP. We are not talking about medical personnel who are employed directly by the police force in this case and that seems to be what you are referring to.

But things are not changing every hour or so.

You're right but, unfortunately, that does not happen in Thailand. Anyone who is remanded in custody is usually sent to the remand prison that also houses convicted prisoners no longer on remand and the conditions are the same for everyone. It happens in other countries also for those remanded in custody, they're held in jail.

Depends on what you consider to be luxuries but inmates do have access to a shop where they can buy food, drink, toiletries and other items and alternative food can be ordered the previous night for a small charge for those who want to pay for it. Visitors can also buy food for the prisoners. But he's in quarantine and that may restrict what he has access to initially, your wife may not have taken that into consideration.

So he occupies a single cell and doesn't have to share the bucket in the corner with 30 other inmates and scramble for a sleeping spot? How is that NOT a privilege? You're the one who is saying that he "occupies a single cell", the article did not say that, it described a room with other inmates while they are being quarantined. There is no "bucket in the corner" of prison accommodation, it's equipped with a toilet and there is no "scrambling for sleeping spots, most prison accommodations have a specific number of occupants with allocated places for sleeping.
