  1. I will add these caveats which should apply to ANY office for 65K monthly deposit extension regime: Make sure you update your passbook as soon as possible following you monthly deposit so that passbook activity is not 'merged' Do not have any FTT deposits (or any deposits) to your account so that there are 12 FTT deposits only in your deposit statement. The 12-month FULL statement is for the 800K crowd to show that minimum balances were maintained whether for 800K or 400K. There are no such requirements to maintain any account balance for the 65K method. Ask your immigration office if you can dispense with this silly requirement for the 65K crowd.
  2. KASH PATEL, FORMER CHIEF OF STAFF TO THE UNITED STATES SECRETARY OF DEFENSE: We will go out and find the conspirators, not just in government, but in the media. Yes, we're going to come after the people in the media who lied about American citizens since, who helped Joe Biden rig presidential elections. We're going to come after you whether it's criminal or civilly. We'll figure that out. But, yes, we're putting you all on notice https://transcripts.cnn.com/show/cnr/date/2024-11-30/segment/07
  3. Back to topic heading, in the upcoming Senate session, there will be 3 GOP Senators who voted for conviction in the Trump Impeachment #2. Conviction implies: Article I, Section 3, Clause 7 provides that the sanctions for an impeached and convicted individual are limited to removal from office and potentially a bar from holding future office, but an impeachment proceeding does not preclude criminal liability. So, the 3 GOP Senators, by their impeachment guilty vote, have stated that Mr. Trump should have been barred for any future Federal office. ... and coincidentally the GOP Senate majority for the next session has a majority of 3.
  4. Or to put the 2014 SCOTUS 9-0 decision as referenced above more simply: The Senate is in session when the Senate says that it is in session.
  5. REDUX 11/15/24 4:30 PM ET Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), who was elected Republican leader this week, hasn’t ruled out recess appointments, but he has also acknowledged they could be procedurally difficult to achieve if there is enough GOP opposition. (my italics) “All this is a process. But I don’t think any of those things are necessarily off the table. I think we have to have all the options on the table,” Thune told Fox News. “And these nominees deserve their day in court. They deserve a hearing, a confirmation hearing, an opportunity to be vetted,” he added. “And the Senate will perform its constitutional role under advise and consent.” https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/4993461-trump-cabinet-5-takeaways
  6. Maybe the most interesting time near-term is JAN 6 to JAN20 2025 when Congress esp. the Senate is in session prior to Trump's inauguration.
  7. GOP senator takes cautious approach on Kash Patel 12/01/24 10:44 AM ET Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) took a cautious approach to Kash Patel, President-elect Trump’s nominee to serve as head of the FBI, highlighting his support for current FBI Director Chris Wray. “I think the president picked a very good man to be the director of the FBI when he did that in his first term,” Rounds told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. Wray was nominated by Trump in 2017 to serve a 10-year term leading the FBI. Trump’s announcement on Saturday indicated he plans to fire Wray and replace him with Patel, a staunch and loyal ally and controversial figure. “Once again, the president has the right to make nominations, but normally these are for a 10-year term. We’ll see what his process is, and whether he actually makes that nomination,” Rounds said. “ https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5016379-gop-senator-takes-cautious-approach-on-kash-patel/
  8. Collins calls draft Roe opinion ‘completely inconsistent’ with what Gorsuch and Kavanaugh said during hearings and meetings Updated 5:57 PM EDT, Tue May 3, 2022 “If this leaked draft opinion is the final decision and this reporting is accurate, it would be completely inconsistent with what Justice Gorsuch and Justice Kavanaugh said in their hearings and in our meetings in my office,” Collins said in a statement. “Obviously, we won’t know each Justice’s decision and reasoning until the Supreme Court officially announces its opinion in this case.” Asked if she was misled by Kavanaugh, Collins told CNN, “My statement speaks for itself.” “We talked about whether he considered Roe to be settled law. He said that he agreed with what Justice Roberts said at his nomination hearing in which he said it was settled law,” Collins said at the time after meeting with Kavanaugh. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/05/03/politics/susan-collins-reaction-kavanaugh-gorsuch/index.html NB GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski (AK) said much the same elsewhere.
  9. Grassley: Patel must prove he will restore public trust in FBI - 12/01/24 10:11 AM ET Grassley suggested he was happy to see Trump replace FBI Director Chris Wray, who Trump nominated to lead the law enforcement bureau after he fired former FBI Director James Comey. But Grassley stopped well short of saying he would definitively back Patel’s nomination. Republicans hold 53 seats in the Senate, meaning Trump and Patel can afford three defections, assuming Democrats are unified against the pick. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5016354-grassley-patel-fbi-nomination
  10. There is now (or will be) a 3 Republican Senate majority. There are now also 3 Republican senators who voted for Trump's impeachment conviction. Whoda thunk?
  11. He is the President-elect officially as of today. (maybe sing something as from The Mikado except that was: Bow! Bow! To his daughter-in-law-elect)
In our conversation with President Trump, I explained to him the comprehensive strategy that Mexico has followed to address the migration phenomenon, respecting human rights. Thanks to this, migrants and caravans are cared for before they arrive at the border. We reiterate that Mexico's position is not to close borders but to build bridges between governments and between peoples. https://x.com/Claudiashein/status/1861946615315275962
I had a great conversation with President Donald Trump. We addressed the Mexican strategy on the phenomenon of migration and I shared that caravans are not arriving at the northern border because they are attended to in Mexico. We also talked about strengthening collaboration on security issues within the framework of our sovereignty and the campaign we are carrying out in the country to prevent the consumption of fentanyl. https://x.com/Claudiashein/status/1861886965248934033

  16. Mexican Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard, speaking alongside Sheinbaum, called for more regional cooperation and integration instead of a war of retaliatory import taxes. Ebrard noted that 88% of pickup trucks sold in the U.S. are made in Mexico and would see a price increase. These vehicles are popular in rural areas that overwhelmingly voted for Trump. “Our estimate is that the average price of these vehicles will increase by $3,000,” Ebrard said. https://www.reuters.com/markets/mexico-warns-trumps-tariff-would-kill-400000-us-jobs-2024-11-27/
  17. Trump describes ‘wonderful’ conversation with Mexico’s leader Leaders differ on how they presented Sheinbaum’s plan to stop migrants entering US Christine Murray in Mexico City 2 hours ago (28 NOV 2024 - 14:53 Bangkok time) Trump and Sheinbaum did differ, however, on how they presented what Mexico has promised to do to stop migrants arriving at the US Southern border. Trump indicated that Sheinbaum would stop migration through Mexico, “effectively closing the southern border”. Sheinbaum said she had explained her country’s efforts to deal with migrants and that her position would “not be to close borders but to build bridges”. https://www.ft.com/content/d6cb4ac1-5765-46af-817f-36e8761c5906
  18. I am not the one who stated that a claim denial is 'likely' without any reference to where or with any specific company or for any specific reason -- and as many claims might be denied for not obtaining prior approval to non-emergency procedure as with nebulous pre-existing condition denials.
  19. You said 'likely'. Do you have any evidence from anywhere that more than 50% of claims are denied for any reason?
  20. "Those insured should also be self insured as a "claim denied" is likely and common." https://aseannow.com/topic/1299265-when-does-it-become-time-to-put-money-aside-in-a-separate-account-and-self-insure/ Per https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/likely "If something is likely, it will probably happen or is expected" or from Collins of Glasgow: "You use likely to indicate that something is probably the case or will probably happen in a particular situation." https://www.".com/dictionary/english/likely So the statement of claim denial being 'likely' is at best hyperbole. To which someone could reckon what else the gent has to say is hyperbole.

  22. — President-elect Donald Trump on Monday promised massive hikes in tariffs on goods coming from Mexico, Canada and China starting on the first day of his administration, a policy that could sharply increase costs for American businesses and consumers. The move, Trump said, will be in retaliation for illegal immigration and “crime and drugs” coming across the border. “On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform. “This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” https://edition.cnn.com/2024/11/25/politics/trump-tariffs-mexico-canada-china/index.html *********** Oh No! 23. Nice to see again as a former (short term) resident of Oklahoma, OK was the only state where EVERY county went for Mr. Trump
