  1. I have seen Pa Nang make quite quality reproductions of paintings, although I have never commissioned one from him. https://maps.app.goo.gl/MtaKnn9wYxHtJ3Qq8
  2. In Spain I am paying 700 euros for a complete implant with the crown in a prestigious medical center (not the typical Argentine dentist, but a dental center with a good reputation, with a maxillofacial surgeon, dentists, nurses, etc.). That's 27,000 baht at the current exchange rate.
  3. For a procedure like this, I think I would take a taxi from the door of my house to the Immigration door. I wouldn't risk going out and doing the tour on foot or by songtaew.
  4. The OPO was talking about Iran, but I don't see that the description you give fits that country. 😆
  5. Diving in Isaan? In Pattaya I do dive often. If you are looking for a quiet place for retirees over 70 years old, I see Hua Hin as more appropriate.
  6. In fact, I remember one in that area who was with several children. The baby she was holding was never the same and someone told me that she rented it to beg on the street.
  7. I don't think we have the same idea about what a "great restaurant" is. We accept that London Steak is the best option in Buriram for Western food, but that doesn't make it a great restaurant. Anyway, thanks for the information, I'll make a note of it in case I ever go to Buriram. And, of course, in Pattaya there are many great restaurants, both Western and Thai food, which is normal for such a touristy place. None of them are English food, of course.
  8. I don't understand. When I went in December they were full every day (only 6 people travel in the van) and I was lucky to be able to find a free space for ten days later. Maybe December is high season, I don't know. It is possible that this month they are closed and only organize trips on request, I don't know. I'm just guessing. Maybe because of Songkram.
  9. I understood that it would only be one-way during the execution of the works.
  10. Do they have to be in cash or does it suffice to show the balance in my Thai bank account?
  11. We left at 5:30 in the morning from the Queen Victoria Inn offices on Soi 6. We arrived at the border at 9:30. We completed all the procedures and at 10:15 we were already in the van returning to Pattaya. We stopped for lunch from 12 to 12:30 and arrived back at the offices on Soi 6 at 2:30 p.m. Just enough time at the border for an agent to accompany you to the queue outside Thailand, stamp your passport, walk across the border, get to Cambodian passport control (where another agent is waiting for you), stamp your entry into Cambodia, stamp your departure from Cambodia, walk back across the border, seal entry into Thailand and return to the coach after a quick visit to the bathroom. In fact, since I was in Cambodia I would have liked an hour free to see something, even if it was a market, but everything went very quickly and almost without queues. There was no need to pay anything there at any time, not even the entry visa to Cambodia. We made a quick stop on the way to Cambodia to go to the bathroom and have a quick breakfast (not included in the price) and on the way back to Pattaya we stopped to eat at a restaurant. The food was good and was included in the visa run price.
  12. All visa fees included in the price
  13. http://www.1stclassvisaruns.com/ I went with them in December. 6-seater VIP van. 3700 baht Everything perfectly organized, with staff waiting at the border to accompany you to complete all the procedures on both the Thai and Cambodian sides. The price also includes food on the way back in a restaurant. I recommend it without hesitation.
  14. Personally, I think the Holiday Inn's seafood buffet on Saturdays is better. You have a 10% early bird discount by booking the day before.
  15. The buffet not only includes seafood; There are many more options. Anyway, the seafood buffet is on Saturdays. There is also a barbecue buffet on another day.
  16. 60k a month should be enough. With 100,000 baht a month you can live well: 20.000 baht for a good condo. 20.000 baht for visa, medical insurance, short trips, and incidental expenses. 2000 baht/day for food, restaurants, shopping, massage, go out for a drink, transport, medicines,... But of course you can do it with less.
  17. 5 YEARS! 😱 https://thepattayanews.com/2024/02/15/pattaya-plans-major-makeover-for-jomtien-beach/
  18. This post is about how much money does it take to live IN PATTAYA.
  19. With 100,000 baht a month you can live well in Pattaya, including the rent for the condo. That would be 1,200,000 baht a year.
  20. Ingles name and Thai name. Same with Pattaya Krang and Central Pattaya road. Or Pattaya Nua and North Pattaya.
  21. Do you know the estimated completion date?
  22. Napaporn Dental Clinic https://maps.app.goo.gl/SGaWbDP6TgEEfYoH6
