Pattaya Vs Chiang Mai Friendliness
Yes, the first thing I noticed in Nan is that it is the cleanest city I have seen in Pattaya. No garbage in the streets or rats. Not a piece of paper. Pretty and quiet, too. Perhaps too quiet to live, being a small provincial city. The only reason I don't dare move there to live is because I'm afraid it might get boring after a while.

Anyone seen either of these for sale in Pattaya lately?
At Villa Market on Avenue, I bought Campbell's clam soup, but I didn't pay attention to the tomato or potato soup. They may have them too.

Thailand to abolish hefty import tariff on wine
From this news and other similar ones, I get the impression that the Thais have finally realized that quality tourism, which really brings money, is the "farang", and not the hordes of Indians and Chinese who come all-inclusive, already paid at source to Chinese tour operators, and the vast majority of whom never visit a bar or a restaurant.

Which is preferable, a marriage visa or a retirement visa?
I am retired, over 60 years old, and married to a Thai citizen. Therefore, I am eligible for both a retirement visa and a marriage visa. In my case, what would be preferable? A marriage visa or a retirement visa? Both for ease of obtaining it and for price. Thanks for your advice and comments

Excellent Car Mechanic In Pattaya
I was at Sakda's yesterday. It's open. Great person and very good mechanic. I took the car to him to change the alternator, he looked at it right away, gave me a very reduced estimate and brought me home in his car. He agreed to bring my car home when it is finished.

Food delivery: Grab vs Foodpanda
In the condominiums where I have lived so far, the security at the door does not let them through. They pick up the food and keep it until you come down to pick it up. Maybe that you could pay the guard to bring the food home himself, but I've never tried that.

The Hit And Run Restaurant "review" Thread
Seafood, steamed seabass with lime sauce, grilled chicken, salad, pasta, ...? Don't get me wrong: everyone can eat whatever they want. I'm just saying that just because some people didn't like the idea of eating a fried pork chop covered in gravy, doesn't mean they are cheap charlies who only look for 99 baht meals.

The Hit And Run Restaurant "review" Thread
Or maybe the price had nothing to do with it and the sad face is due to the unhealthy nature of the food you posted. Some people don't mind paying more for a healthy meal. In fact, it is easy to find tasty and healthy meals at a good price in Pattaya.

Who lives in a studio ?
I go down almost daily to the gym, sauna and pool before going up to the apartment WFH. (European working hours start at 2:00 p.m. Thailand time). If I don't come down early, all sunbeds are already taken.
