On the other hand - an angry thief could cause a lot of damage. Perhaps better not such a joke.

Ballons filled with gas? Just have to care about the wind direction. Or perhaps you can try to get one of them for a while ????

I have an old but very good computer monitor - at least as long as it didn't have this problem. Problem is that the polarizer film is old and needs to be replaced. This is a plastic film on top of the glass of the LCD panel. It can be removed and replaced - but bubble and dust free like a phone screen protector. The polarizer film I could buy at Lazada. It is cheap and I guess I even could do the work myself. But I am very lazy and impatient at least when it comes to such delicate work... ???????????? I have a new monitor already. But I could use this one as a 2nd display.. Does anyone know a repair shop here in Pattaya that could do such a job?

Look at Lazada. There you will find many packages that you will not get at the official shops. They are completely legal. 30 Mbps unlimited AIS and Dtac for about 200 Baht plus for the first month. 235 every month for the following months. Mine can be used for 6 months. So you should not stick to a certain phone number... Lower speeds are of course cheaper. There are also yearly packages much cheaper but then often with data limit. If you need any help let me know it. I recently ordered one for AIS and one for Dtac.

It looks pretty much like the same problem. Normally it should smell like vinegar. Does it smell like this? If so the polarizer film of the screen dissolves. This is a thin plastic layer on top of the glass. It can be replaced. But similar to screen protectors on phones it is critical that it is done bubble and dust free. I have a new monitor in the meantime. But the old one was great and I will try to find someone here in Pattaya to fix it. At this occasion - does anyone know a repair shop that could do it?

"The deputy chief revealed on Friday, October 28th, that he was assigned by Commissioner Damrongsak Kittipraphat to monitor entertainment venues and nightclubs nationwide to see whether they have properly and strictly complied by the law." I am a little bit confused. Was this not the job of the police force already?! And now 1 person gets assigned to do this in the future? He will have a lot of work to do...

Is it a problem that my old monitor developed? Perhaps it is not that bad yet... Can you post a picture?

Speed tests are not really important. They give me an idea for instance how the speed changes during the day. The user experience is important. And my main test for me is YouTube 2160p. Good peak performance doesn't help here. You need a sustained download rate over a long period of time to avoid buffering. 3BB VDSL has no problem but the 4G packages need to provide the same if I want to replace 3BB completely. I don't like a compromise in this regard. My Dtac SIM arrived yesterday and compared to the AIS SIM it gives me a very different experience. But I will continue to test until November 6th and then share my results. And if you use IPTV you have to test IPTV and also not with a speed test server. You really have to test with things that you use.

Pattaya: Operators say they don't pay bribes to police and higher-ups

Yannawa District Superintendent removed from his position
Mickeymaus replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
There must be independent people checking the legality of entertainment venues. And they also have to find out why they were allowed to operate illegally. And violations must be severely punished. One might think the Mountain B fire desaster should have been motivation enough to get rid of such illegal businesses... -
Report: nonthaburi IO 90 days report

I just did mine online for Chonburi (Jomtien). One hour later I got the "Receipt of Notification" by email. -
Certain products like phones, tablets, SSDs, SD Cards I would only buy at known sellers like JIB, or the producer.

I always put the products I like to compare in respect of the price in the basket and then I press checkout (without buying them). Then you see the total costs. In respect of fake items and fake reviews - it is very bad that Lazada doesn't seem to care much. Yesterday I looked for 1 TB SSDs for about 1000 Baht ????????????. Many 5 star ratings. Genuine products that had on all images the same serial number ????????????.

Does anyone know 6 TB EXT HDD 3.5'' ADATA HM800
Mickeymaus replied to Negita43's topic in IT and Computers
I think here you might find what you want to know. It is in Chinese but he dismantles it. -
Thank you for the information. In respect of the speeds with AIS I see a clear pattern depending on the time of the day. Dtac didn't arrive yet and might come tomorrow. I will test both and report my experience after the 6th of November (then I had the AIS SIM for 1 month). Speedtests are one thing. What is important to me is for instance to be able to watch YouTube videos at 2160p (for this you need at least 25Mbps). The reason for this resolution is my 3D TV. But this is a completely different story and has to do with the 2D to 3D conversion of the TV. The higher the resolution the better the results and my TV does an excellent job then. Okay - in the worst case you could use for instance TubeMate to download the 4K video and watch it then.
