Why in heavens name would you live in, or visit, a country that you can name 5 things you 'hate' about it? I don't 'hate anything about Thailand, the country I have chosen to live in. If I did, then I wouldn't be here and neither would any sensible person. Some things irritate me on occasions, some things disappoint me, many things surprise me, and I'm sad about a few things here, such as the death toll on the roads, but 'hate', no, I wouldnt use that word for anything here.

No, not anywhere near. My Dad was a damaged man following WW2, where he served in UK Bomber Command. He was quiet, accepting, hated any kind of confrontation, almost a weak shadow of a man and he was never able to reach his undoubted potential, at work, or as a parent and husband. Many of that generation had their character irretrievably damaged by their experiences and were never able to overcome the trauma.

First post on this subject that I agree with. Despite good surge protection, one good thunderstorm can easily destroy mobiles or computers that are left on. Been there and learnt from it/
