Why the need to question. It´s a light hearted question, that some people might enjoy, like with all other topics. Myself, I do not enjoy it very much, but there is still no need to question, as everything must not be useful or fill a purpose. For me it´s easy to just leave it alone for the ones who wish to engage. I have done 1-2 times in older topics regarding the subject, and feel no need to engage again.

Yeah, that is one of the places that are know for attracting all kinds of people. That will say both Thais and foreigners of all kind and shapes. I live like more out in the sticks. The whole province has a population of about 500 000 people. Actually quite a lot of foreigners around. Most seem to be sensible, have something to talk about, having fun, sitting down taking a beer now and then in different places and sometimes we go out eat together. But, on the other hand, that goes for a lot of Thais I know too, and we also socialize foreigners and Thais sometimes. It´s like a regular and normal nice and calm life. As you say, I would not make it in Pattaya either. Can be fun to now and then just visit for a couple of days up to a week. After that, I am overloaded with too much of everything. Just want to go back home to the sticks and have the regular nice and friendly people around.

I don´t live in any kind of bubble. On a daily basis, I interact with several Thais as well as foreigners. None of them seem to be any nutters or suffer from dementia. Neither are they grumpy. I don´t get it, but you must live in one of the worst locations in Thailand, to get such weird understanding about people in general.

Sorry, but I don´t follow you. Have you ever thought about why they scrutinize foreigners soo much when it comes to permission to stay, and many other administrative things in Thailand? Do you think the behavior of these people going to ease such methods and make it much better for us. After that, I didn´t in any kind of way include you as a single person. If you feel the need to react, then it must be that you feel you belong to a certain group and now feel discriminated by facts. You chose where you belong, right?
