  1. That is not a work truck! It´s a modified pick-up and it´s totally illegal to carry 30 people in/on that car.
  2. Good Man! At least he did not fall asleep before he stopped for the red light.
  3. That is very true. However, I have seen a lot of life vests.
  4. Yeah, and it will go much quicker, hence my point. Not taking anything from TV series. Instead I base my knowledge on real life combat, but that´s another story. However, the fact is, that if there are a deep cut across the throat, that would make a person fall down very quickly.
  5. In my opinion, all Thais that are closer than 5 meter to water, should wear a vest.
  6. Sure, I would not take it either, but it will be much harder to move things in the right direction here. 🙂
  7. And once again a life vest could have prevented the death. They do not get it, and they will never learn.
  8. Disguised? I really wonder if he is that smart. I think he is a food delivery guy, and the police do best in checking Panda´s and LineMan´s for gun powder residue.
  9. How lucky he took the gun with him to a gathering with his friends. That´s just a normal thing that everyone does.
  10. Another well educated, stable and sane security guard has been found. For long time, we have known that being a security guard is just a regular anyone with a dress and a badge/emblem.
  11. The T4 Education Awards, has nothing to do with the overall quality of schools and teaching. Never has! They only focus on innovative measures as well as environmental and health, and based on that give yearly awards. That does not define the overall education quality and the quality of teachers and board members.
  12. Sadly, another half-man, that abuse and mistreat his woman, can accept the result of such actions. Too many Thai males are in the need of adult after schooling about what ex-wife means and learn that they by that definition are free to start a new relationship with somebody else. Their wife is not a commodity that they own for the rest of their life. This is starting to be a severe illness in the Thai male society. One must suppose that the neighbors are used to hearing sporadic gunfire, as it no longer raise any concerns. Incredible!
  13. Must be very bad staging as a person who have a deep cut across throat only walks a couple of steps before falling. If want to stage something would not leave a pool of blood where the murder took place. This is pointing much to mentioned friend, and that he had an emotional feeling after cutting his throat. Therefore moving him from living room to bed as that looks more peaceful. Now all that usually attacks because of assumptions, can feel free to do that. You all know who you are. 🙂
  14. Are they Thai, and believe in such fairytales?
  15. Denials, denials and denials....... It stands clear it is a measure of urbanization. Something that by size internationally defines the name of the place But you continue deny, it suits you!
  16. That was probably in another country. Good luck trying that in Thailand! You will probably be the one ending up behind bars, if you are that lucky.
  17. Still as this is an international forum, how was it regarding the international standards defining cities etc.? Still something you avoid like the plague, right?
  18. Yes, because you transfer your town version of translating and force it on people. Did you look up the standards of international meanings of city? I can see that you refrained from commenting that. Was it not according to you false view?
  19. Which means you translate it to town, while I translate it to city. Just because large is in the combination, does not take away the double meaning of a Thai word, as Thai language are minimized to using the same words for many meanings.
  20. No, you said that, and i repeated it. If you read the understanding about how Thai language defines the two words city and town as same, you will get a better understanding.
  21. BS! It´s a different shark. Let´s say like this, they are enough smart to want some form of security for a loan. Income of 150 baht is not such security. And, yes! If you had any knowledge about sharks, you would know that almost all of them make selections. In fact, that is why there are not more shark attacks on humans.
  22. Maybe you are not aware of this, but what you are talking about is the following: ในเมือง - Nai mueang เมือง - Mueang That is the Thai definitions you are referring to. Just because you relate to UK, you translate that to: in the town or town. In reality, it also translates to in the city and city. That means that you are once again trying to force UK ways of thinking on the rest of the world. As I have already posted to Lorry, you can see that the international standards support my definition in English. Are we finished now?
  23. He just say they are all Towns, out of 2 simple reasons. 1. Thailand only define Bangkok as a city. 2. Because he is used to this from the UK, as they have a unique definition that basically goes against the world Below you have UN and Worldbanks international descriptions and measurements that are todays standard. How do we define cities, towns, and rural areas? (worldbank.org)
  24. Yeah, but here we talked about where they speak khmer i Thailand, and that is definitely in and around the cities I mentioned. This is not a thread for showing off your expertise in what Thailand have as a definition regarding village, towns or cities. And, no! It´s not a city because there are buses going to them. That was just an example, that you will probably also get hooked on. Now, for the last time. Other members on this forum understand perfectly well without giving me a lesson about Thai definitions or how UK look at things. I thought I would not come to this again, but apparently you are one of those stuck up, tight arsed and arrogant Brits that we actually do not need here. Other Brits on this forum, please accept my apologies. The comment above, does not include you.
