No, I think not. Dogs are primarily driven by olfactory-related reasons. Perhaps, the Farang smell (probably different for each country) is either appetizing or repugnant to the canine, depending upon the country of origin. When I first arrived in Thailand, I am sure I had the scent of Taiwan upon me. Now, I know that I exude nothing but the Thai smell, having lived here long enough to eat nothing but Thai food, for years.

I would be happy to see China invade Taiwan. Taiwan would benefit from an invasion. The infrastructure in Taiwan is not up to snuff. China could improve Taiwan a great deal. Also, MOST IMPORTANTLY.... The FOOD. An invasion of Taiwan could return Great Chinese Cuisine, particularly SiChuan Food, back to Taiwan. The ChiangKaiShek army, when fleeing to Taiwan, had a huge group of wonderful SiChuan chefs traveling with the army. I recall the great food I once enjoyed in Taipei, cooked by these Old Soldiers. Now they are dead. We need NEW Chinese Soldier-Chefs in Taipei, if for no other reason than making the food in Taipei edible, once again.

Right. And I, for one, think that TOPS is about the best in Thailand for what I need to buy in the way of edibles. However, I try to shop ONLY in the Tops location where I know the manager. He is one of the best managers in Thailand.

GOOD Reply from the manager. I really HATE all that crappy plastic junk they put out for hotel guests. I do not use any of it. a. I buy and use a high quality toothbrush...NOT Hotel crud. b. All that plastic garbage, unused, truly is not so good for landfills and the environment. c. I also do not use that crappola because I have no way of knowing what is inside those bottles. The products might have been adulterated by previous guests, etc. Therefore.... I am with the hotel manager on this one. The guest should go brush his teeth with a twig off the nearest tree.

It's true. There are many good reasons to eat, exclusively, Thai food when in Thailand. The fact that this protects from Soi Dog attack is just an added benefit. (It works sort of like the mythical Garlic and Werewolves...except...it really works with Soi Dogs.)

Most people, I reasoned, would NOT believe me, if I posted this Topic, if I were to say that this subject has actually been a topic of conversation in the USA for a very long time. Therefore, I intentionally employed the quote from Reddit, as well as in image from Reddit, to partially substantiate my case that black people actually DO talk about this. This is not racist, either. If the White Man smells different, due to diet or for whatever reason, than I am curious about the Topic. Also, this must be the same for other people who do not share the typical American diet for White People, whatever that is. OR, perhaps the White Man is using different aftershave...or...SOMETHING..... Maybe different soap? Nobody knows, probably. Still, this is something that africanamerican people have talked about in the past. Whether or not Thai people also talk about this topic, I also do not know. I recall that either Japanese people or Chinese people mentioned this to me in the past. And, perhaps this difference in body odor between Chinese people and American white people is just a product of their overly vivid imaginations. No Chinese or Japanese friend of mine has ever told me that I smell like a wet dog. But if they did, it would not bother me. Because, I am not the one being bothered by an offensive smell. Also, who is to say that WET DOG is not something that some people like.

The REAL story of interest is: Who or What has been running the country (USA) during Biden's dementia years, probably for, at the very least, the past 18 months. Was it Biden who was running things? REALLY? Certainly, it could not have been Harris. She could not run a lemonade stand, by herself. So then, any ideas who or what group has been running the USA, since, after the last debate, it's become so obvious that it could NOT have been Biden. When will the truth out? It WILL out, sooner or later, and after the election. Some young reporter team, some up and coming Woodward and Bernstein team, will write a tell-all book. So what is YOUR best guess concerning....who/what was truly in-charge, during Biden's dementia years at the White House? Does anyone know? For sure, the people "in the know" are unwilling to speak, until AFTER the election. I bet that you haven't a clue.
