  1. Not quite: Looks good to me, anyway... Just need a pick and shovel to add an extra room.... The sky is the limit!
  2. Thank you. Will try. Or, should I just take a dip in rice congee, instead?
  3. Yes. The Orange One, and the Purple One...are great, in that order. The Advanced one is subpar...but only in my estimation, perhaps. Note: The recordings that are designed to accompany these first two books are QUITE GOOD! Much, MUCH work went into the production of the first two books and the recordings....
  4. Yes. The foaming agent added is to compensate for the so-called HardWater, here.... And...YES! The Lux disappears quickly, once you add water....! Just add water, and the Lux bar soap is....GONE!
  5. You say jump. I will only ask...How Far. Dawn is approaching...and...in this.... You are correct. I lost my virginity listening to this guy...OR... Was it the Moody Blues? Do you recall? ======= Anyway....One More Time..please...but different....
  6. No. As I have already stated/implied in the Lounge.... The with withholding of the STOOL is unwise... Either from one's doctor...or... Otherwise. Keep this in mind if you want to stay healthy and regular. By the Way; Is this your best attempt at lowbrow repartee....?
  7. What's wrong with her? After all, she graduated from Choate... And... She speaks a smattering of Chinese....too! a smattering of Chinese.[16 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Nuland Of course, when they say a "smattering". what they really mean is that she is able to utter.... Ni Hao Zai Jian Or... TaMaDeBi.... But, not much more...
  8. Also, anytime I consider the cleansing of the toilet, I am inevitably reminded of this famous Full Metal Jacket toilet cleaning scene: "I want to slip my tubesteak into your sister" scene: I don't need a cleaning lady as much as I need the marines to clean my bathrooms and toilets, maybe.... Absolutely...SPOTLESS....
  9. Thank you. I will definitely investigate this further....
  10. OK....I WILL....and Thank you! By the way, I should just like to mention the reason why I once loved Dial so much.... I am sure the reason is related to the fact that Dial was created by.....GENIUSES! "Dial emerged as a result of a collaborative effort by a team of accomplished chemists that worked at Armour and Company, with Emmett Patrick Glynn standing out as a key contributor. This dedicated team collectively crafted Dial, a truly pioneering product. Remarkably, despite their remarkable achievement, none of these brilliant minds, including Glynn, were rewarded with substantial compensation for their groundbreaking work.".... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dial_(soap) You know, in Thailand, it's not so easy to get a perfect shower. And I have made the effort to get a more perfect shower, please believe me.... a. I have great water pressure now after installing a higher pressure water pump. b. I have good color-combinations of tiles in my bathroom c. I have relocated the shower head way up high, as it should be. d. I have rectified many problems that most people encounter with the typical Thailand/Asian/Chinese showers. e. I have plenty of hot water now that I have installed a water heater adequate to the job. f. And, a few things more... So, my selection of the proper bar soap for my shower is the final problem I am trying to solve, at the moment, before I achieve my perfect shower. If you are anyone like me, then you, especially in the cooler months, enjoy spending up to an hour in the shower. And, even when the Hot Season is upon me, I turn up the AC (my AC has a 2.5 horsepower compressor) to full blast, and cool myself down before jumping into a steaming shower. Being celibate, as I still am, this is one of my greatest pleasures in life. And, if I can find the perfect bar soap, then my prayers will be truly answered. Tks. Gamma And... Regards
  11. Actually...YES.... Trump could definitely be a disaster for the world. This is really true. I agree with you.
  12. YES... Cleaning lady. But... Somedays, someway, you might need to do this distasteful job.... Yourself.
  13. Not recently, apparently... And...not REALLY believing...because.... If there were a God, and if there were a Heaven.... Everyone and his brother would be just dying to get out of here and head there, obviously. Instead, it seems, most guys just want to hang on here, instead of shipping off to the next life. Why is that? So...there are no true believers, and...it is not the believers (non-existent believers) who are the threat. True believers would not be a threat or be a danger....logically speaking....
  14. Looks OK. And, as you correctly state....I need something with PLENTY of something like acid.... Sometimes I use bleach, but....bleach is expensive. I need something both cheap and effective. Also...what about the powder that was suggested earlier by a commenter in this Topic? Might a powder be better than a liquid? That "Duck" product just does not work well for me....HONESTLY....
  15. My Dial-soap Friends: Why has Dial Bar Soap been discontinued? If it has been discontinued, then what is the replacement here in Thailand? I have been using LUX bar soap...BUT....Lux is just to foamy and scummy for me, ie...it leaves a scum on the bathroom tiles, IMHO, when Dial never did. I like a soap with minimum fuss and foam. I know a good bar soap when I feel it on my skin. I like a soap which gets my skin.... SQUEAKY CLEAN....and not SLIMY CLEAN....and a soap which is easy to rinse clean.... This is not a small issue, for me, anyway, since I bathe up to twice per day, especially during the Hot Season. I used to use Dial, RELIGIOUSLY.... Here is why..... So, what to do? Any help fragrantly appreciated.... Regards, Gamma Note: Dial Bar Soap, at least for me, always made my day in the mornings. I love the feel of the Dial Bar on my body, head to toe. Really, it was GREAT. Also, after leaving the US, and moving to Taiwan, over 45 years ago, I was unable to get Dial, much to my amazement. Note2: Therefore, here in Thailand...what is the best alternative that will give me the Same FEEL in the Shower, each and every morning....??? Thanks, Dial, and...I am sorely missing you!!! NOTE3: This is NOT a joke post.... Here is the Wikipedia link to Dial Soap.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dial_(soap)#:~:text=Dial is an American brand, subsidiary of Henkel AG %26 Co. I just cannot find it in the stores in CM.... I really like this soap.... If I cannot buy this.... Then, is there any close facsimile? NOTE4: Go here to find out why the original Dial Bar Soap formula was discontinued in the US.... In September 2016, the FDA ruled that antibacterial soaps containing triclocarban and triclosan can no longer be marketed.[9] Dial replaced these ingredients with benzalkonium chloride (for bar soaps) and benzethonium chloride (for liquid hand soaps). In its 2016 ruling, the FDA also stated that it is deferring the final rule on benzalkonium chloride, benzethonium chloride and chloroxylenol by a year to allow for the development and submission of new safety and effectiveness data for these ingredients. Consumer antibacterial washes containing these specific ingredients may be marketed during this time while data are being collected.[10] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dial_(soap)#:~:text=Dial is an American brand, subsidiary of Henkel AG %26 Co.
  16. OK. I will. That "duck" stuff is useless, and for the birds, IMHO.... (I thought that Comet was for the kitchen sink, and for the bathtub....however....)
  17. It's nice and uplifting to hear that people, such as you, are interested in coming to Thailand to learn passa Thai. Passa Thai is a beautiful language, and the Thai script is beautiful, too. Once you really "get into it", you will find the experience of learning passa Thai completely engrossing and ultimately interesting. Please check out the Decker series of books. The first Decker book for Beginners is Tops!
  18. Hi, If you are like me, then you are always running out of space to store your possessions. I have this extra bathroom that I do not use. And so, I want to use this space to store my stuff. I just worry that this space is not under air (not air conditioned). What might be the best plastic storage containers to use in this case? I worry about bugs. And, I worry about humidity and mold. What to do? What to buy? I plan to turn the shower space into a small storeroom with stackable plastic containers. Any ideas? Thank you. Gamma Note: I just hope that I get a reply from the same guy that gave me the Gaffers Tape solution, as well as other very useful solutions. Note2: Should I use Moth Balls? Or, is there something better to keep any bugs out of the containers? Note3: What is your advice about creating a fairly long-term storage space from an unused bathroom and shower area? I plan to use lumber to create a low platform to keep the containers raised off the tile flooring of the bathroom... But, is doing this just overkill? Might I just stack the plastic containers on the tile floor, and leave it at that? I don't want to do any work that is not needed for this type of thing.
  19. Good Luck with your passa Thai studies. Learning passa Thai is very rewarding, when one is both intrinsically and extrinsically motivated. I have been studying passa Thai for about 11 years. Hope you will do the same.
