I honestly think the media is reporting such a tight race for two reasons: 1. Keeps people's attention. 2. If it were reported Harris was far ahead, many would think, "Then I don't need to vote, she's already got it."

Swifties and similar young people are registering in all time record numbers. They are in all likelihood voting blue. They are notoriously difficult to poll cuz they don't have land lines and don't answer unknown callers. Those are the unreported numbers that have red think tank folks losing sleep over.

This is NOT merely "scoring political points." She is trying to make people aware of just what is at stake! The GOP loser and his VP pick have openly stated again and again how they are all about a nationwide abortion ban - period. Lately they've toned that down (read LIED about it) because they are now realizing what a toxic stance they have.

She's stating black & white facts. The 3 SCOTUS judges appointed by 45 flat out lied about abortion laws to get on the court, then overturned Roe v. Wade which DIRECTLY affected the laws that lead to these poor women's deaths. Truth hurts, especially when lives are lost over it.

I no longer care who wins regarding this forum. I'm done trying to discuss rationally anything about politics. Too many ridiculous trolls throwing snarky remarks around with no hope of ever coming to a compromise. Between this and the enormous number of popups that invade make this page too difficult to enjoy any more.

In a nutshell - find a copy of "Project 2025" and READ it. Don't just listen to others' opinions. Many of his former staff helped write it, and the forward was written by his VP pick J.D. My agent has a doctor who rubber stamps the form. I spend more than enough time seeing doctors for other health issues, I don't need to lie on a table, have a doctor poke my belly, then sign a form saying I'm fit to drive.

I have an agent that takes care of the medical cert. There is an eye test at the licensing office that checks for color blindness and they always have that hokey reflex joke, but I never waste my time at a doctor's office.
