The streets in BKK seem packed with tourists, but, and it might depend on the time of day, very few bars, shops, restaurants seem busy???

Has anyone nailed down the best way to provide some outdoor cool air? Some of the open air bars in BKK seem to be investing in lots of mobile, evaporative units....Hatari? We have a small patio and I was wondering if a wall mounted, internal units would be any good (when mounted outside)? Do people just go for these mist type cooling devices? Are they healthy?

For me, I had to take both, miss one or the other and it all kicked off again. Turns out i am allergic to myself.....cortisol was the root cause.
