    My eldest daughter...42.....had braces fitted....for 12 months (I think) and she now has to wear a guard for umpteen hours a day to stop the teeth from moving back to where they were. About 6000 GBP in total (UK prices)....but her teeth do look very good and totally natural.....not 'Hollywood'.

    I came across a girl buried up to her neck on the beach. She asked me to help her...... I said...what's in it for me?.....She said sand.

    When I first moved here I asked the wife...... when are the kids allowed to ride a motorbike?.........she said as soon as they stop falling off. I see them as young 10yo hammering along, flat out ......three have died in the past 12 months.

    I went to see Jimmy Carter 76/77 in the UK. Every roof top had agents on them as far as the eye could see. We were told they had arrived a week before Carter's address to assess security.

    I know things vary from office to office, but I had my application rejected last time because my bank book did not show money being deposited and withdrawn on the day of my application.....just thought that might be worth throwing into the mix. Also I had to do all my forms again as they would only accept blue ink???

    I used to work for Dunlop, manufacturing long length hydraulic hose. The nightshift once printed 5km of hose...... "Do not print this hose" ..........as per the instruction written in the 'Print Legend Instruction'.

    We used to live in the village where Heartbeat was filmed and we were, on occasions, plagued by three 'well known' youths who lived near by. The local bobby, no word of a lie, asked me to round up a couple of the neighbours and give the youths a good beating as he was never going to solve the problem.

    Only time i’ve been put out on the BTS was when a Spanish (I think) lady, in her late 60s, stood up and offered me her seat. I was about 50 at the time.
