    The climate hasn't, previously, had an industrial revolution to cope with......the evidence is pretty damning that the release of carbon dioxide and other gases are causing this change in climate.

    Yes....very bad. Been here on and off since 1990.....purely anecdotal, but it seemed until recently, 'winters' were 30/31, summers 35/36......this seems to have jumped to 35/36 and 40/41.

    I think you do 'own' the water meter....take it with you when you leave.....we had to replace ours recently and we were told we had to pay for installation and the meter .....could be a scam of course.

    Travelled Friday.....Qatar.....self check-in, loaded my own luggage....through security and passport control in 10 mins.....1800 hrs.....had b****y hours to kill then. Went via the new S gates....fantastic layout.

    ....and even with attractions you need a proper transport infrastructure rather than experiencing a faithful recreation of Whacky Races in order to get there.

    Insurance companies will only provide cover for three months......not to sure if you can get around that?

    I agree.....best to keep it as it is.......the richest royalty in the world, alongside some of the poorest people in the world, the constant threat of military coups, extreme inequalities in almost every walk of life, a backward, uneducated electorate and corruption and nepotism rife.....what"s not to like?

    We run two 18,000 units from 11am to 9pm, then a smaller 12,000 unit from 9pm till 9am.....our bill was 3,700B.....more than happy with that.

    Got one now....English Bull Terrier.....he and the wife dote on each other.....but he has attacked me 5 or 6 times and bitten 3 times.....no way will she get rid of it.

    Probably true.....but very unfair.....every house in our village has a stick to hand and they are not slow to use it

    I used to carry one.....but one of my kids, who works with attack dogs for the military..... said they are a total waste of money..... totally ineffective once a dog flicks over into attack mode.

    Step one: shout very loudly Step two: pick something up....or even pretend to pick something up Step three: if you have a rock throw it, if you have a stick swish it about Step three: carry a knife.....I have a small, OTF knife. If you are attacked sticks, rocks are totally useless.....you be in shock and bleeding out before you can land a blow. The only way to stop a real attack is with a knife or a gun.

    So they have stood by and 'allowed' the slaughter of 1000's with their infamous "fence sitting" foreign policy....but now it is inconvenient to have a trickle of refugees come across the border they spring into action....what a farce.
