  1. NO, I didn't scourer the forums, for every little mishap someone had in an MG. People wouldn't buy any vehicles if they listened to people's complaints and mishaps. MG has been making the EV version for 5 ish yrs (2018), so plenty of time to work the kinks out, along with some very nice upgrades. No big headliner of issues. One or 2 issues they sorted out since 2018, with upgrades. If a recall comes up for anything, I'm sure I'll hear about. SAIC been building cars for decades, quite successfully. SAIC & MG haven't had any scandals like most of the other western auto makers, so I'd trust them way more than the rest.
  2. Anyone who 'has to' use an agent, really shouldn't be living here. Stay in home country with your healthcare safety net.
  3. I could afford to live in any part of TH on 800k a years. 60k ish a month should be no problem for anyone. Mandatory monthly expenses would be: Rent starts @ 5k & up Utilities, ph/int @~5k Food starts @ 10k & up That leaves a lot, left over for whatever.
  4. 3 yrs don't make me an expert, especially since I've yet to even change the oil or a tire on our MGs. Push the button, starts, foot on accelerator. Now take to dealer, they peek, I drink coffee, and before I'm done drinking coffee, told all good, no charge ... HAVE A NICE DAY ????
  5. INDESTRUCTABLE FLEXIBLE SOLAR PANELS ... Perfected 'old tech', now 'new tech', and yes, pricey. But applications where you wouldn't, shouldn't, couldn't put panels before. Except for cost, no reason, (hailstorms, no problem) for anyone not to have solar: Stuck in this thread, as it's run it's course, as this with die shortly also. Silly to start a new threads. (mods UP2U)
  6. @parallaxtech I sent a msg to LAX & Shopee, asking if participating in 'Fall In Sale'
  7. PTT has more 'killing time' and food options, if needing. Bangchak's/PEA have the Inthanon coffee shop, OK, and some have small market (Big C). I see the new larger ones/Bangchak, will go head to head with PTT Parks. One thing to note, if haven't already, PTT EVStation Pluz machines reset at 55 mins after the hour, and charging will stop. Reservations, if making, (not necessary to use) are for 'on the hour' with a 10 minute window, (I think) before expiring. Fee 40 baht. Drive in without is fine, and best close to top of hour is best, if needing, wanting a bit more than 50%. 30-90% goes in fast enough, that last 10% take some time, so we rarely wait around much beyond 80-85%, unless doing something on the laptop. On a long leg, it's a lot faster if you stop 2X, and top up to 80-90% rather than up to 100%. That extra 10% could take 20 min. or so.
  8. 1 shooting makes international news ... and now it's an issue that needs discussing. Good thing the other 2800 homicides by firearms didn't make the news ???? https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/gun-deaths-by-country
  9. Many of the PEA Volta's are at Bangchak Petrol stations
  10. Do you think anyone moving back to the USA will be on AN, to follow the happenings in Thailand, of SEA. Don't think you'll be getting too many replies. I certainly wouldn't, same as I don't follow any forums about the USA after leaving. How bored do you have to be to do that?
  11. ECOFLOW has flagship & official stores: LAZ Shopee
  12. "more details" seem to be lacking more details ????
  13. He thought out & executed a mass shooting, with 3 dead (?), and a few injured. That's a bit too much of conscious planning & thinking to me. Not some tart mimicking a video game because he doesn't know right from wrong. No compassion from me, though I can think of a compassionate way to avoid this idiot from doing it again, but that would be against forum rules to suggest.
  14. Not sure if he saw the replies or not. Wish we could tell who likes a reply, as would have answered that question. Notice some folks don't know how to search their profile for previous posts, and simply start a new thread.
  15. At least 2 houses, so unless staying with another relative, they have a bit more than most. "Their son typically resided in another home in the Sathorn district" And on the gun issue ... more than a few here in TH, according to Wiki. 6M+ registered 4M+ unregistered (?) Making it into the top 50 or 230 countries/territories for firearms per capita (15 per 100ppl): source You'd be surprised how easy it is to get one here/TH (unregistered), and I speak from experience.
  16. Make no mistake, the air is bad. You won't notice in town, but you also won't see the hills to the west for about 4-6 months, when AQI #s are 75-150. That's just the visual downside, which means along with that, the PM2.5 will be 2 to 10 X healthy levels, which you can't see.
  17. Be prepared for a wee bit a sticker shock with hotels. They are really getting silly priced of late, and it's not even high season.
  18. MI quality was ok, on my 65", and wish I could say the same about the movie. First hour was a total waste, some vain attempt to be a comedy, along with a silly car chase scene. Second half a bit better. I can understand why Cruise said this & next will be his last MI ... as they are going downhill fast. Maybe he'll make part 2 interesting, with everyone getting bumped off. Enjoyed the E3 more, though slow paced. OK time killer, though I've given up expecting any thing new, exciting, thought provoking from any movie makers.
  19. So you're not wanting solar for cost savings, as your bill really isn't much. Installed system is going to start around 150k-200k. What's your age, as ROI will take probably at least that many months, 150-200, if saving 1000 baht a month. My installer has done solar systems on Samui, and based in Hua Hin, but travels far and wide. Whether he wants to return to Samui to do a system now, is a question mark, as quite busy. Along with, if an oops, it may be a while before he gets there to service the system. https://solarsolutionltd.com/ Since all you need is to keep your computer, frig & fan on, have you considered one of the solar generators, basically a big UPS/power station/bank, and you could charge with couple solar panels or charge up overnight on the grid, for those long outages. Although they are not cheap either, in TH. Something like this, 3500 cycles & LFP chemistry, providing 2200w inverter. This may even be what your using already: Available at (cheaper than USA pricing): LAZ Shopee Think I would consider buying one myself, if my car didn't already have V2L ... ????
  20. Does 'fruit' need to be added to describe a wine, as all wines are made from fruit. Unless simply meaning. not from grapes.
  21. It's a one time entry of CC info on the app. Then they simply bill the CC every time you charge.
