  1. can't find any Chargers & there's always a long Q ????
  2. Allowing an orangutan close enough to touch a family member is first mistake. If it decide to rape her, I doubt if most could stop it. I read they're extremely strong, and nice large teeth.
  3. Guess y'all missed the nut job part of post. Went from jail cell to leader to dominating force of Europe. That's pretty impressive.
  4. Do the < 0.004% of population really need all this attention & protection. Especially since most know their assailant. IMHO, better time and resources can be spent elsewhere that can actually make a difference.
  5. "must be at least a few admirers of Herr Hitler" You do have to admire/give him some credit for his accomplishments, though warped nutjob that he was.
  6. and yet, that's one of 2 states I lived in and made the most money toward early retirement. Doesn't matter what state, born, raised in, worked in, or lived in. Choices in life determine yours, not the state. Just another excuse, not a reason.
  7. So about 1 every 9th day ???? Been here 23+ yrs and not even a crash on a scooter. 2 minor oops in USA, 20 yrs prior to coming here.
  8. Haven't a clue, been years, and won't ride them again, unless a local at Krung Thep. Would think thing fairly regular, as things are getting back to normal, sort of. At least a couple a day.
  9. Agree, if have a chance, definitely go. Also saw one over the river @ ICONSIAM, and very impressive, and I'm not easily impressed.
  10. Does seem to be going for the 'farang' experience, so not a bad choice. May be bored with or think bkk, patts, bangla rd are OTT.
  11. Not really, as you had a photo of someone, fit & strong, as did I, but fit & strong does NOT = healthy. Topic is about 'healthy' diets. Most, like myself, I think would rather be healthy as I've been around 10 yrs longer than Randy already, and hopefully another 10 to go.
  12. I wouldn't meet anyone on the forum for a pissin' contest. If happy & healthy, who cares who tall or heavy one is....or how far they can walk.
  13. and .... ... any body builder, weight lifter could be using, and looking fit & strong.
  14. You're expecting people to be honest on an anonymous forum ????
  15. Looks fit & strong, but that doesn't necessarily = healthy. Fit & strong .... dead at 58 yrs old / coronary
  16. USA taller than about the 100 countries shorter on the list vs the 43 ish countries taller on the list. Not than anyone but you cares about 179 vs 175 ... 1.5" ????
  17. To you ... 174 is short to me ???? 175 is still above average
  18. USA being in the top half of that list differs with your 'opinion' With CH about the same height and IN a bit shorter, though bottom half of that list, I'd say that's a good portion of the world population = USA above average, not short.
  19. RF is 185cm, I already post, and 6'1'' is not average at all I'm average @ 5'9" "Introduction. The average height in America is 5'9″ for men and 5'4″ for women. However, it may vary from state to state."
  20. Too late to edit, but ZS, ES, MG4 have LFP. EP PLUS ? https://www.mgcars.com/th/mg-models/new-mg4-electric/price "As for the MG ES, it comes with a new generation of 8 Layer Hair Pin electric motors, providing a maximum power of 177 horsepower and a maximum torque of 280 Nm, equipped with a 51 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack . 412 km per charge (NEDC standard) with 3-level adjustable KERS energy recovery system" https://www.autofun.co.th/news/2023-mg-es-vs-mg-ep-comparison-64415 LFP (already linked previous post)
  21. Yes, ZS is LFP, so expecting a long life barring any oops: https://zecar.com/resources/what-are-lfp-nmc-nca-batteries-in-electric-cars and available for modular replacement https://www.mgenergysystems.eu/en/products/lfp-12v/#:~:text=This robust 12 V battery,in a high energy density.
  22. @swissie "What does it all mean for US $ expats? In short and simplyfied: Over time you will get less THB for your US $" As I stated earlier, not noticing getting less, the past few US administration. 30-35 THB / 1 USD. Remaining steady past 15+ yrs, since Jan 2007. Rarely going below 30, and some nice peaks above 35. Fluctuation of ~10% from where it is now. https://tradingeconomics.com/thailand/currency
  23. He is a tennis player, legs & arms being the priority. But agree, he's far from what many would consider buff, but also not juiced up. Looking quite healthy. I prefer a bit more upper body mass. Manual labor did that for me in my early years, and decades cycling developed my legs. Now I'm just lazy ???? so not as solid as I used to be.
