  1. If bread was unhealthy, I'd be dead a lot time ago. As always ... moderation: "Glucose – this is one of the most important forms of sugar used by the body for energy. All other carbohydrates (including other sugars) are converted into glucose during the digestion of food. Glucose is naturally found in some fruits and vegetables and the nectar or sap of plants." "Whilst our bodies need energy from carbohydrates, fats and proteins for normal functioning, it's important to consider the energy we get from all sources so we can achieve a balanced diet. Exceptions The most notable exception to the carbohydrate metabolism explained above is dietary fibre. Dietary fibre – a type of polysaccharide, can be classed as either soluble [dissolves in water] or insoluble [cannot be dissolved in water]. The body cannot digest or absorb dietary fibre like other carbohydrates. Instead, a portion is fermented by colonic gut bacteria. As a result, it passes relatively untouched through the digestive system and is removed in stools." https://www.sugarnutritionresource.org/the-basics/digestion-absorption-of-sugar

  4. You may need a lawyer, but I don't ???? "Last Will and Testament for Thailand Foreigners with assets in Thailand can choose to make a Thai last will and testament specifically for assets inside Thailand and expressly excluding assets outside Thailand." Page 13: http://www.thairealestate.co.th/downloads/FAMILY_LAWS.pdf A foreign written will can be translated & registered in Thailand. But adjudication of that will, requires court proceeding, Page 3:
  5. They should all handle the sun, unless total krap. Wind might be a different story, as the ones I've attempted to use, got blown off the car. And not really worth the hassle for me, to secure tightly. As stated, carport at home, and shade when possible when out & about.
  6. Depends on one's skill set, along with supply & demand of, in any location. That's a long piece of string with too many variables. There is a minimum wage scale by law, with Bangkok, Phuket, Chonburi and maybe Chiang Mai provinces edging out the rest of the country by a bit. But nothing anyone wants to try to live on.
  7. Yea, I simply assumed that one. Didn't realize there was a London SoHo, I think, or I forgot.
  8. Try making your own, as plenty of suggested recipes on YT & internet. Basic 4 or 5 seasonings, then tweak to your preference.
  9. Hope they make their network available to all EVs.
  10. Woke up & AQI @ 20 ????, though some burning already, about 200 meters from house ???? I must be upwind. Now AQI @ 24, my meter... hmm, and winds have picked up. AQI site stating AQI now @ 93. Don't know where their meter is, but obviously not near me.
  11. Actually it's SoHo Cantina ... neither of your suggestions.
  12. Most 125cc and small ICE scooters are about 125 +/- kg. Wife & myself were always a tad over max load on the Wave 125, and quite noticeable in the performance. Hardly notice when she's on the E-MB. DECOs are considerably higher, as mine is 200kg, though will definitely affect range. Even their smallest, 1000w models will handle 150kg.
  13. I'm a Yank also, but yea, they do serve that krap now in the USA, and depending on the vendor, it can be quite tasty, or sadly, look like the one in the OP, and simply be pep & cheese on a lot of bread. Thank Wolfgang Puck for introducing that style of pizza. Best pizza for us, is a good NY Style pizza, again, different vendors, different results. SoHo did a nice one on Soi 11, though daughter said disappointing on last few purchase. Strangely, Pizza Co did an excellent one, and 18" @ 399 baht, but discontinued offering, sadly. Was a twice monthly visit for us, so now back to making at home again. Not the best results, as hard to duplicate with overnight proofing, which I don't have the patience or planning skill to do.
  14. I occasionally add a wee bit of cheddar to my 'pizza', when having on hand, as I did yesterday. Damn tasty it was, 3 cheeses, w/bacon smoked ham in every bite.
  15. Go ahead ... I dare you to try to take my gun ... ???? I can understand the outrage from the she/it M&M, with heels on ... as not a very complimentary face....biatch
  16. Thai will enforces Thai assets only, No matter what the will states about assets abroad. Thai court has no jurisdiction overseas. Thai will must be in Thai script. Thai will does NOT have to be notarized, BUT, witnesses' signatures must be signed at the registering office in the presence of one filing will. Whether those signatures & will can be officially notarized in TH elsewhere, I don't know. We have only done DIY wills at Amphur offices, and procedure the same at both. Lawyer not needed, but ... UP2U
  17. So politicians do illegal things and lie a lot. Moving on ????
  18. Since most are gang bangers, trash taking out the trash, not sure it's really a bad thing ????
  19. Don't be dissin' peanut butter ... as long as you make your own. No need for the extra sugar, salt, hydrogenated oil. 1/2 kg of dry roasted, 49 baht at Makro, and 250 gr lasts me about couple weeks. Food processor makes it nice and smooth, no need for additives.
  20. Bread usually is not the problem, as it's simply a conveyance of what you put on it, which usually is the problem. We bake our own with no sugar, so that's one negative we don't have to worry about, as if there's any.
  21. So my digital meter is also a T.O.U. meter ? Wonder if they add on the extra 300 baht service charge. As charging the EV overnight, 50kW if dead, would be around 120 baht at discount rate, but 420 if T.O.U. meter charge is applied. Which would defeat the purpose, and actually cost more. Need to get wife to verify, or I guess I could just charge it after hours for 5 or 10 kW, and see what the bill breakdown is. Car is at 90% now, and meter gets read on 26/27th of the month. Go 2kW on the meter for this month ????
  22. Once again ... nothing to do with "EVs in TH" Note to self: don't peek at posts from ignore list
  23. Forecast a bit better the rest of week & next. Down from flat out 'UNHEALTHY', to 'Un F'g Acceptable'. Guess I won't see much of < 50 AQI till rainy season. Sad when your thoughts are "at least I don't live in Hua Hin or northward of" North of HH During these months I wonder "why am I not at Philly, PA, USA, or Florida" ... ... until I read the news ????
  24. Talk about jinx myself. Just returned from daily park walk with the dog, and nothing but smoke in the air. Municipal park workers had a couple piles of leaves & brush burning, with more than a few piles waiting ???? AQI @ 100+, with PM2.5 over 7X healthy. Think I'll stay indoors the rest of the day, till Swensen's Tuesday run.
