  1. Don't know what this has to do with TH ... ... but it is amazing, this guy finally is reporting something that is accurate. Maybe, as I didn't watch much of the vid. Though a bit late to the game, as Tesla has been banned from certain areas in CH, at least since 2021. And, if wanting to stay current, not sure if he mentioned this ???? "An airport in central China has lifted a ban preventing Tesla cars from entering its parking lots after the U.S. electric car giant issued clarifications on the functionality of its Sentry Mode, which captures video footage while parked. https://www.sixthtone.com/news/1013528
  2. Can't argue that ... ???? There's Neta @ 549k or MG @ 771K
  3. But UK, only 8700+ are 'rapid' or faster, where most of TH's are rapid chargers, I think. Aside from the EV to CS ratio. UK being such a small, how many charging points do you really need. Do people really travel further than 280 km roundtrip or one way, on the weekend.
  4. Considering the last election's Rep debates, they are a bit of joke. Basically all questions were either to him, or about him. Pointed out a few times times during those debates. Debate opens and they state your policies, then a giant bash fest, only good for TV ratings. All quite embarrassing really. Only an idiot would watch them again, and sadly, too many millions of those.
  5. Hopped up to Hua Hin again, no surprises. A few more kilometers a few more stop and go and a little bit more regen to battery. Adding a few kilometers range per charge 326 instead of 323. Quite consistent range, anywhere between 320 and 360 kms is our average per charge.
  6. No deception, as has to be noted on menu somewhere.
  7. Didn't read link, too long, no interest. Nude beach (official), never been, skinny dipped plenty. Naturist...at home. Just don't like wearing clothes, especially in hot weather.
  8. Quite the opposite, though felt the same way when living in the USA. I left ... nuff said
  9. Scooter do have a recommended load limit for safe operation. I'd pass on fat people also. 2 normal size people can max out the load limit.
  10. The realization of a good value is catching on. People seeing through the anti EV BS
  11. they don't even do that in the west
  12. Lifespan How long do eclectus parrots live Their life span in captivity is 20-30 but in the wild up to 50 years.
  13. Try contacting these folks, and as if & how much: https://www.bopexpress.co.th/
  14. How many people in TH can qualify for that coverage.
  15. Yes, timing is everything, but rare to get an 'old' one from 5 star, and most tasty & juicy. Easy to tell by looking at them, if left over from lunch hr, if buying for dinner.
  16. Hey ... Wings Zap are excellent. Nothing wrong with MSG. Coke, yea, agree there ... although ... moderation rules with everything.
  17. Hasn't been my experience with 'land' prices. Matter of fact, missed golden opportunity where we bought land and live now. We paid 76k. 4 ish yrs later, bought the lot across from us for 250k Lot 3 lots down sold a month of so later for 450k Then next lot, a month later, sold for 650k. We probably could have bough each of them, for <100k, when we bought. ... oops ???? Prior lot we bought, bit smarter. 1 parcel, 6 lots for 720k Sold 3 for 500k each 2 for 650k 1 for 550k edit: sold 10 yrs after purchase. Nice appreciation/profit made.
  18. Appreciate, as long as choosing wisely. 'Infrastructure' statement gives me a bit of pause if value. Not sure what you mean. Waiting ... then land may appreciate out of your budget. Infrastructure ? ... is it far from main road, with or without electric/water service. Could add considerably to cost.
  19. Let hotels be your guide. Actually should state that in the AC thread, as Mitsubishi seems to be the one of choice, and usually operate quick well when using. I always take note of good toilets, butt wash, shower heads/heater, ACs. Not sure if I remember half of it, but enough brands repeated to get a basic idea.
  20. I like the ones I hear about, that want you to pay, and they'll reimburse you ... ???? For those considering ins. here, go to your local hospital, or 3, that you'd probably be taken to, if an emergency oops, and ask them, which carriers they prefer to deal with, hassle free. They will let you know, who they like, and don't like.
  21. That's one thing you'll have no problem finding in TH, grilled, roast or rotisserie chicken. As suggested '5 star' should bring up plenty, though not all offer rotisserie chicken. These are just a few that have been listed on Gmap:
  22. Learn & drive anywhere you want, as long as not on public street. I think (don't quote me), it's 15, for scooter, not sure about car. Quick google, and car ... 18, sounds about right if memory serves w/daughter. Same info from 2 sites:
  23. Way more money than I'm willing to spend, without selling any assets. I'll go 1M maybe 2M, but I want guarantees I'm getting 5 more yrs of good, quality life. That's something they can't give, at soon to by 69 yrs old. Wife & kid can enjoy that money, instead of me hanging around for another year or so, full facilities or not. In a couple year, my brother & myself will be the oldest ones ever, in our family tree.
  24. That would make a huge difference. I was approved for hearing aids, but between the time of approval, and getting fitted with them, I got fired from the job. Insurance coverage supposed to be continued for 30 day, no matter the reason to leaving company. I'm in the chair, getting fitted (not in yet) and she calls the insurance carrier to get final authorization for specific units, and they decline the claim. Talk about P'd off, she went ballistic on them. I sued & they settled for $12k ???? Strangely, they approved, to my knowledge, a Chiro visit every other day for those 30 days. Mind boggling who hand doesn't know what the other hand is dong. That was a workman's comp claim, and add that to 2 other suits, I won against them. Along with Soc Sec, and a private health insurance carrier. Even had to sue a homeowner insurance underwriter.
  25. I actually wouldn't expect an ins co. to cover me for anything expensive, especially if possible terminal diagnosis. They'd just hedge their bet and hope I died. At worse, pay small settlement, and only if family filed lawsuit. Friend got a terminal diagnosis, (25 ish yrs old), and ins. co. dropped him like hot potato. As if his day wasn't bad enough getting the news. Turned out the diagnosis was completely wrong. Not only was it not terminal, but not even cancer. Scary they could have been that far off. And yea, he sued the sh!t out of them, for huge pay off ???? So no, I wouldn't expect any company to honor their coverage, at my age, and especially with my past experiences. 6 times, had to use courts to get compensation owed to me, from insurance underwriters, govt & private.
