  1. "There are 2,572 power outlets at 869 charging stations nationwide. (TNA)" https://tna.mcot.net/english-news-1024061
  2. As always, UP2U, feel free to celebrate, recognize any tradition or holiday. I enjoy some holidays, even Christian, though an Atheist. Traditions, not so much. ex: tradition of flowers and or candy for Valentines, at 5-10X normal prices for roses. Some traditions are nothing but marketing, or money grab, as posted above - tradition women aren't equal in divorce or money matter in some countries. Not tradition, that just wrong. Best local example, Sin Sot, Thai / farang, it's tradition, but most Thais would never pay Sin Sot for used, divorced wife, 2nd marriage w/kids. But those benefitting will tell you, it's 'Thai tradition' ... ???? Fine line between some holidays, tradition, peer pressure, getting scammed ????
  3. Old or new definition: "The CDC previously defined vaccination as: “The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.” Now, as per the update in September 2021, it defines it as: “The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection to a specific disease.” read into that what you want, I have my thoughts why... ... nuff said
  4. That was quick PP in hand...nice 6 weeks to spare till ext. time / old PP expired.
  5. ... says the snake oil sales folk. % don't mean much in an unregulated market. I twist a doobie, usually 1 gr, if not feeling it before half gone (1/2 gr) then it's krap. Usually stop at half a doobie, and that last more than a couple hours. Rarely fire up the other half the same night. Latest, only 2nd purchase, ฿14 / gr does just that. Same as the ฿140 / gr did (฿79+S&H). Happy with both, but why pay 10X as much. Would have been cheaper, if bought volume, as I did the 2nd purchase of 100gr. Websites state both should be in the 20% +/- range, though haven't a clue since no testing equipment.
  6. to the title ... NO, most are silly or marketing. Usually benefits the one stating the tradition.
  7. I come in on 'new content', see headliner & last comment. Too lazy, don't care, or bother reading the OP, and just replied to comment quoted. A lot more to than just being lazy when it comes to deliveries. Now reading OP, competition crying ... oh well ... ???? Supply & demand, better service @ better price always wins. CAPITOLISM ROCKS GO CHINA ... oops, wrong thread ????
  8. ... and if doing legally, might involve 1-200 meter to an intersection or elevated walkover & back, or risk getting run over ... ???? Not going to mention rainy season and walking in sewer water ... ... oops
  9. 10-100-1000s of scooters on the road vs cars, is a major plus. To some it's economics, way cheaper to have delivered besides being easier than picking up. Especially if you, spouse, and little sh!ts all want something different. Try finding a parking spot for your car at your favorite shops at dining hours. Great for the business ... that don't have parking for more than 5 scooters, if that. win win win all around.
  10. Kudos to them for living 'their' lives, out from under the royal 'thumb'. What a horrible family to be part of, and changing the name to Windsor back in 1917, only hides their German roots from the most ignorant of folks. British royals ... that's a crack up.
  11. Retirement visa is the easiest, IMHO, once financials are sorted. Since married, that would be 2nd choice. Unfamiliar with the rest, since never needing.
  12. Wife usually gets a better price when calling direct. I rarely use booking sites, except as a reference tool. If not a better price, then can reserve without prepayment.
  13. Or gets bored easily, as I do. Rarely have stayed anywhere (USA) over 5 yrs. Usually 1-3 yrs, with exception in Thailand, one 7, two 5 yr stint. Once I'm done exploring an area, a few times, it's usually time to move on. Settled in permanently now, this house anyway, but O&A quite often ... that boredom thingy.
  14. Happy with our Deye (8kW), though only 7 weeks in. They offer a 5kW that is PEA approved.
  15. booking.com, filter; pet friendly & parking if needed. call to verify all info before booking anything. pet size, wt limit, what's allowed or not, pet charge parking on site, secure, street, or 'nearby' by reservation Gmap sat / streetview for 'green' areas
  16. Since 2000, legal immigrants to the United States number approximately 1,000,000 per year
  17. Found info, did an edit...3k ???? Good if playing camping.
  18. Would think no different than hooking up a generator to your breaker panel/box. If trying to avoid running off a few extension cords. All sounds good in theory, but MG V2L for example is only rated at 3000w. I think. Good for a water kettle & induction cooktop.
  19. Going to be a great feature when we're in camper mode, along with AC'd sleeping area ????
  20. Same reason most places developed, covered in concrete, asphalt & buildings all draining to the same areas. The rains have nowhere to go (naturally into the earth/ground) but simply follows the poorly managed channeling to clogged storm drains.
  21. Wow, he actually said something positive about EVs, and in the MG ZS EV linked early on. Didn't realize electric (grid) was so expensive in OZ. Takes a while longer for that ROI vs petrol there.
