    Coffee

For those using French press, and not putting grounds in compost, then easy clean up is holding upside down over toilet, and using butt wash to rinse out ... ????
  2. Agree, and a pet peeve of mine. Maybe one day people will stop calling Krung Thep - Bangkok. At least the generals will have something to blame the flooding on, instead of their poor governing.

    Coffee

Here's one coffee you may want to avoid, as wasn't for us: My review of, and vendor's reply to: "Burnt flavor ... not for us. At least not expensive to sample. Fast delivery, though silly delivery charge. 64 baht for a 200 baht item = 30+ % delivery charge????" "Response from store - 2 years ago Roast with machine standard.cargo North to south Prachuap Khiri khan 64 baht system is calculate." Here's one coffee to consider, and we've happy sipping for about 10 yrs: They offer different beans/Arabica/Robusta/blends. We prefer the Arabica. Although, wanting to test a new brand, we sampled at coffee shop, and if we switch, I'll update. On actually brewing, I actually prefer this SS Drip funnel: I seem to have more control over the extraction time, by simply pouring the water in slowly vs our 'coffee' machine, as 15 bars, water goes thru too fast to extract properly, unless wanting Americana, and that's stretch. Don't care for the limited amount the portafilter hold. We have the 'machine', French presses & Moka pots, and prefer the cheap A$$ drip funnel ????
  4. You really shouldn't say you're picky, than state you're drinking instant. Agree though, when I do drink instant, it's usually Moccona. Picky that way ????
  5. Guess I'm the only one that really enjoyed my 25 ish adult yrs in USA. Had a blast and the women where great. No better or worse then here. Here is great, there was great.
  6. Always pop into ICONSIAM when in the area https://photos.app.goo.gl/6vWvFg9zweehDKf96
  7. Prannok (N10) Pier, used to known as WangLang pier, do to the area, and market behind it. Fairly extensive and some fine vendors. Though been quite some time since visited. Left of the pier, when getting off boat, was small riverside vendor/restaurant, great for people watching a munch and some sipping. Used to stop there quite a bit when on the river. Plenty of other vendor, if not still there.
  8. Gas is on, pay in RU rubles, and hell no, keep griner. I'm a US citizen for 1 reason, nobody else wants me ...
  9. Call them, they will send you link in your email, for refund. They will want ID & Bank info. Very easy, as I've done a few times.
  10. Click on 'wallet', click on 'withdraw'
  11. We use 'red' (photo) or that's what's in the freezer now. Have also used 'Bruggeman' brand. 500g from Makro, I think. Keeps well in the freezer. Why no sugar ? I use honey sometimes. I see Bruggeman on LAZ, so may want to buy there if can't find locally. Makro carries if you are near one, a bit cheaper. https://www.lazada.co.th//products/i2858496566-s10426607900.html?spm=a2o4m.cart.0.0.30486108P2u2Qr&urlFlag=true
  12. Yep, without hurricane season, FL was first choice for retirement, as ticks all the boxes for me. weather, cost of living, housing (homestead)/ tax wise, nice beaches & Caribbean next door. Got chased twice by hurricanes while holidaying there. Drove through just after Hurricane Andrew hit on the way to the Keys, not something I'd want to be near ... EVER Scratch FL, that left TH - only 1 in past century or so (Chumphon), not much to be concerned about, no earthquakes, no tornados.
  13. And here's a professional photographer thoughts, since he has expert experience with those cameras.
  14. Probably another big nothing, as they always fizzle out, when traveling over land before arriving in Thailand.
  15. Lozada will refund to your bank account. I've done it numerous times.
  16. Not a fan of abortion, but being anti-abortion is political suicide. IMHO Whether you are Republican or Democrat.
  17. Ronald Reagan, born: February 6, 1911. A democracy voted the law in, a democracy can vote the law out. If that's what the people of Arizona want ... apparently not
  18. The law is the law, the fact that it's old is irrelevant. The Constitution is how old ... a fine document. If you don't like the law change it, if not move out of the state. Apparently the people of Arizona don't like abortions.
  19. Smart, you shop at fresh markets, many on forum don't. Happy munchin
  20. I prefer cayenne pepper, it's not as acidic as Thai peppers. Also don't forget your cilantro / coriander, you can find in the fresh veggie section it's called phak chi or something like that. I get packaged dried cayenne peppers from Makro and grind as needed. If you shop Villa Market, may even find jalapeno peppers. Tortillas are easy enough to make. Or buy the soft packaged ones.
  21. Another Atto 3 news-blip, dated the 9th Sept, with 2 versions; 49.9 & 60.4kW battery ... hmm https://autolifethailand.tv/byd-rever-atto-3-coming-thailand-10-oct/ Includes an interesting comparison 'chart' vs other makers. Not a whole lot of difference really, dimension wise. Compared to the B-SUV / Crossover group, the BYD Atto 3 is the largest in the car segment of this size. Haval Jolion: 4,472 x 1,841 x 1,619 mm / wheelbase 2,700 mm. Honda HR-V: 4,385 x 1,790 x 1,590 mm / wheelbase 2,610 mm. Toyota Corolla Cross: 4,460 x 1,825 x 1,620 mm / wheelbase 2,640 mm. Mazda CX-30: 4,395 x 1,795 x 1,540 mm. / Wheelbase 2,655 mm. Nissan Kicks: 4,384 x 1,813 x 1,656 mm / wheelbase 2,673 mm. Peugeot 2008: 4,300 x 1,770 x 1,530 mm / wheelbase 2,650 mm. MG ZS EV : 4,323 x 1809 x 1,649 mm / wheelbase 2,585 mm. BYD Atto 3 : 4,455 x 1,875 x 1,615 mm / wheelbase 2,720 mm.
