  1. oops ... ???? Note to self: do NOT post after smoking a doob
  2. Since yours / OP's land, could put the lines in the ground, from meter placement. We did, though very short run.
  3. Not sure about useless, as curtains will block sun from heating up a few meters, and restrict it to a few cms.
  4. Have... doubtful Just research market prices. Failing that, for ballpark price, insured value+10% for private, +20% for dealer.
  5. 1st wife thought along those line, but jewelry. Would take my rings off in thunderstorm ... ????
  6. Hard to follow your post, but PEA at, Muang, PKK, the first 140m from their line is/was free. Any extra and need to pay 50% of cost. Luckily that took it right up to our wall, almost, so no extra was charged to us. What you describe, 'shack', I believe is a temporary line & meter, charged at a higher rate. Once house is done, blue book issued, then they will install pole/lines & new meter. That's how our 3 builds went at 2 different province.
  7. What MG parts have you been waiting for ?
  8. Too late ... quote below in red, was stated by me, NOT seedy Apologies ...
  9. I haven't read any negatives about MGs, from MG owners, or EVs from EV owners. Go figure. When I do, I take note. I ignore most of the Ant-Thai/China/EV/MG posts. As all seem to come from ignorant people, or non owners ... IMHO
  10. Ebike would be my choice. More versatile than scooter ???? Also, JIC your local area bans ????, as Patong did. Ebike all shape & sizes, and modifiable. Whatever you decide, get w/lithium battery.
  11. Reading comprehesion Just another anti China & now anti MG thread. Big surprise considering the posters.
  12. Another Mango / Papaya comparison ... irrelevant to anything.
  13. One OP was considering is not more a hazard to others, or a danger to ride, than a bicycle. Less so, as has a smaller profile, probably will not be operated as fast. The one I had was pretty cool, and felt very safe scooting around on it, till it died. Probably a one or so off, as it was a highly rated one, and not so cheap (20k). Would do 35-40 kph if wanting, no thanks & 25 was way fast enough. Knowing the road, I did feel safe at top speed, but if doing consistently, it would be wise to wear a helmet ... again, no thanks. E-bike is another alternative, though good one is not cheap. Various styles & sizes. Someone mentioned shopping with, and could easily attach panier bags of various styles & sizes, if wanting to keep a smaller profile. Or fit it out for over the road travel & out & abouts ???? Doubles as good exercise if not using 'motor' only mode. Can pedal or pedal motor assisted. I actually enjoyed using the e-bike more than E-MB & car, when at the rental, and closer to town.
  14. Aside from being able to 'fuel' itself, the USA is one of the few counties, that can feed itself - wiki The current shift toward socialism, and of course, being the worlds corporate security force has probably been detrimental to the strength of the $$$. Or it would probably be back around ฿40/$1 ... pre-Gulf War BS, and increased debt/deficit. Fake war, unnecessary bail outs, and now socialism has taken it's toll on the economy.
  15. I've had different experiences, all positive with Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, the few times something needed replacing. Mazda dealer had to order a front McPherson strut, as coincidentally, someone else needed one the same week, or it would have been in stock. Along with excellent service while doing. as we weren't sure if that was the issue, and strut was rather expensive. Since other owner wasn't picking up in a few days, they took it off their car, and put on ours, to see if that fixed the issue, which it did. Then replaced it back, and placed an order for 2 more, ours & one to stock. No issues with the MG, only 33k kms on it, so can't comment. With 3 dealers within 180 kms, don't think stock would be an issue.
  16. Getting settled into the new house, and can actually walk around, inside, without stepping over, or knockin' sh!t around ???? The dump, oops, unfinished, work in progress is looking organize, sort of. Since organized and caught up inside at least, I busted out the camera, and took a few snaps of critters from the veranda & front porch. One on the veranda, taking a break or had an oops, but flew off 5 mins after being spotted. A few more critters ... not birds ...
  17. Sorry, spoke too soon. He doesn't go back to Chonburi area anymore. 4 yrs was enough. Based in NBLP now, full time. Wife's from there, but only good for short family visits, not working. Sorry LA
  18. My nephew is quite good, though not available till November.
  19. Probably a suicide. The thought of another night with A fat, drunken, smelly farang was too much for her ... R I P
