  1. It’s not needed for anything unless you plan on collecting Thai social security. It’s just that some feel it’s more convenient to have for the once or twice a year event of using it.
  2. That’s for damn sure, as an American I have never attended a frik’n stuffy British flamingo tea party. I’m a coffee doser, straight black and strong to get me zipping in the morning. I hope you enjoy your s*** in the hair flamingo tea
  3. I wouldn’t download anything unless it was directly from the ais website
  4. Good time to buy gold, given that things are starting to flair up in the world. If things appear to change in the US elections in November, then expect the price to drop.
  5. If everyone would tell these rude people to shut the F up, then we would have a more peaceful existence. Nothing a potato in the pipe couldn’t fix.
  6. Misophonia, a sensitivity of certain tones and/or sounds. The best remedy is the use of earplugs. Hyperacusis is sensitivity to loud noise or sounds that seem loud. Again, the use of earplugs is a good remedy.
  7. Or maybe he ditched a girl and her brothers cousins and uncles weren’t very happy about bringing shame to the family and village and opt out of the balcony method.
  8. Nobody wants a civil war, except for maybe some extremest on either side. Though empirically it appears that the some in the lawless criminal government would like to see it developed and incite to further an agenda. The states will hold firm lawfully according the constitution, the government will continue to encroach incrementally and disseminating false narratives via the msm brainwashing machine that most at this point are completely ignoring anymore.
  9. My late wife was from Texas, she was a hard@ss Texan through and through. What will be interesting is to see how far the US government will go to push their criminality defying the constitutional law of securing the state rights and protecting the borders.
  10. Right, it lifted a stay prohibiting the Feds from cutting the wire to gain access to the border. Texas is not defying a Supreme Court ruling. SCOTUS got rid of an injunction that had stopped the federal gov't from “damaging, destroying, or otherwise interfering with Texas’s c-wire fence...” Now feds are not legally blocked from interfering with the fence. A statement issued by Tx gov… ”The federal government has broken the compact between the United States and the States. The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now. President Biden has refused to enforce those laws and has even violated them. The result is that he has smashed records for illegal immigration. Despite having been put on notice in a series of letters—one of which I delivered to him by hand—President Biden has ignored Texas’s demand that he perform his constitutional duties. • President Biden has violated his oath to faithfully execute immigration laws enacted by Congress. Instead of prosecuting immigrants for the federal crime of illegal entry, President Biden has sent his lawyers into federal courts to sue Texas for taking action to secure the border. 11. Governor Abbott is enforcing state constitution which during an invasion makes him commander and chief of Texas
  12. The Supreme court gave an Order, remember when? Governor Wallace refused to respect either the law or the authority of local officials. For his own personal and political reasons. President Kennedy federalized the Alabama National Guard through Executive Order 11111, legal under the Insurrection Act of 1807. Then, the president directed the National Guard to command Wallace to step aside. Every member of the Texas National Guard swears an oath to “obey the orders of the President…and of the Governor.” 32 U.S.C. §§ 304, 312; see also Perpich, 496 U.S. at 348 (noting various “hats” worn by guardsmen) Though from this perspective in this case a rogue federal government doesn't give orders to a Sovereign Republic! Now Arkansas and Oklahoma has joined, soon Louisiana, New Mexico and possibly Arizona. Lines are being drawn and things are getting interesting. Texit?
  13. Hey now! I ain’t no ev fanboy. And if anyone tries to finagle me into buying one of those heaps, they’ll certainly get a tongue lashing
  14. I’m sure it’s a mixed bag of many reasons, though not worth getting into the why’s. Ultimately it’s not worth taking any of it personally, it’s just a bunch of bits and bytes emanating out of your device.
  15. I go through that intersection three or four times a week and haven’t been attacked yet.
  16. Don’t hesitate because nobody knows what you’re waiting for. A little patience goes a long way. Don’t read too much into it and relax. It’s a variable. Again, don’t team into it and stop it with the raciest nonsense already…good grief!
  17. Yeah that’s right and the experience of 99.9% of the expats here. The poster made a comment about needing a pink id for collecting SSI on an expat forum without stating that it is for Thai SSI. Whether from the US Europe or Antarctica, whatever it is you’re trying to convey is irrelevant.
  18. Never had a problem with it, easy enough as with everything else.
  19. This morning wife cooked jinsom with eggs and black rice. Occasionally I’ll cook, nothing worth writing home about, mashed potatoes and salmon.
  20. the point is of the OP stating that the bank required pink id…the topic…the answer: Pink ID Not Needed For Opening A Bank Account. Find Another Bank. hey now, flared egos are fair game, even overly wordy nonsense types. Nothing worth getting bothered by, now is it? I never implied that I have anything against others using a pink id. You’re just reading into things that aren’t there and nitpicking. Relax already. I can care less about who uses what id where. 5! I was agreeing with you, and I added that everyone carries their passport to board a domestic flight, certainly don’t think anyone wants to get caught with their pants down before a flight. Again, you’re reading with an armed predisposition. Lighten up already, no need to so defensive. It’s just a pink id, something that isn’t needed except for the exception of one poster here..petedk for Thai SS. The rest is just fluffy wordy rhetoric.
  21. out of all that, it would only be useful at the DLT which is a rare occurrence. Wife books the rooms in her name, no one ever bothers asking for my pp. Hospital never asked for my pp, license is good enough. I go to the bank once a year…etc. You failed to read the OP stated that the bank required a pink id. Thanks for speaking for yourself, the pink id is really nothing to have an ego flair, silly.
