I have 3BB 1GB/500MB. It does what I need but a friend reckons that True have the "best" service (whatever "best" means). I don't know much about 4G, 5G and my phone is an old OnePlus2 phone running Android 6! So I don't think I can be of much help... I'm surprised more phone-savvy people haven't replied.

I never been asked by them to to see transactions for both accounts - the "800,000" and daily use account. I wonder if it is because my "800,000" in the SCB account looks like money is going in and out every month or so but, in fact, I'm not doing it. It appears to be the way the bank does the interest calculations. Here's a snippet: The right hand column is the credit column. They appear to take out money, put it back and then add the interest - all on the same day. ???? But the balance column (not shown) never goes below 800,000. Edit: They add the interest and then take out the 15% tax. X1 and X2 codes mean "Transfer Deposit" and "Withdrawal Nobook".

That's a good tip - go to Immigration for a new TM.7 form, just in case it has been updated. ????

Exactly - I think some of the people who complained about losing money need to think back to when they (or their spouse) filled in their debit card details - including the CVV - in response to an email stating that they owed money.

They KNOW account numbers and CVVs because they ASK for them and some people give them the information. I didn't. See my post above. I was lucky.

I've received a few of these emails over the last 2 or 3 weeks. They are marked "High Priority": The "Thailand Post" image at the top and all the text and the pictures at the bottom are part of one big graphic. If I hover the mouse anywhere over the graphic, a link address is visible: If I click on the graphic in the email I get this page after a few seconds. Initially the URL is as above, but changes to what is shown below in the address bar. Note it ends in "/101a0/": If I go through the process again and click on the image in the email again, the URL changes (to /9b186/ at the end). The "Tracking number" stays the same, but each time the code at the end changes: If I search for the name "Butiran Pembayaran" (who I presume is going to receive the payment), there are lots of results: By the way, this email was sent to my old Hotmail account which I rarely use now. I suppose I could print it out and take it to the post office in Rawai and ask them if this is a scam! What do you think?

Name? Yes, they don't appear to notice the date range at the top of the statement and only look at the dates of the transactions, which could be months old.
