  1. I have a Poco F3, bought it last year (for 10k Baht in a sale), specs are still good, maybe you can get it with a nice discount second hand now. No complaints with the phone, working good, fast, etc. I just tried it, I can revoke for example the permission to make phone calls from the standard phone app, giving me a warning that this might break basic functionality of the phone, but upon confirmation it allows me to do this.
  2. Noticed the same, asked Roojai, got this as answer from then: "The center price which is controlled by the government is increased so it's affected every insurer in Thailand. "
  3. According to some random VIN number decoder this is motorbike with serial number 00001, so it would be the first 2022 CB500X which was produced in Thailand. Did you also take pictures of the other bikes? Might be serial numbers 2, 3, 4. Probably these bikes are used for promo purposes by Honda.
  4. necessary Company This looks way less than in the link which I posted in the OP. Did anybody here recently apply for a non-B in Vientiane and can confirm which documents are actually required? I will also try to contact them to ask them. Thank you They never had a foreigner, I'm the first. I already talked with their accountant or lawyer or whatever, who manages these kind of things, he also doesn't sound like he has experience with it. I think the part at the labour office should be no big deal, this he can figure out, and if he is missing a document from me I can just send it to him and he can try it again, until he gets the WP3 done for me. But before I head out of Thailand to apply for a visa at Vientiane, I would like to be prepared and be sure that I have all the required documents, I don't want to be turned away at the embassy because something is missing. Is it required to make an appointment at the embassy through the website which ubonjoe posted, or can one just show up?
  5. I'm currently on a Non-ED extension, but might not be able to get a letter from the school to cancel my current extension and I might also run into hurdles when trying to apply for a work permit while still holding the ED extension, so I will probably have to void it by leaving Thailand and then have those two options. What has your experience been with applying for a Non-B visa at Vientiane vs. applying for it at immigration? What is easier? Will be a regular job, no teacher. The requirements on the embassy website: https://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/en/ประเภทวีซ่า-types-of-visa/ Does somebody have the requirements for the conversion at the immigration office? I once saw a PDF file with them, but couldn't find it now. Can somebody clarify which of these documents listed on the embassy website are required in my case, because it seems like some of them are only required if teaching. A few points where I don't know how to do this: - A police certificate or a criminal record clearance issued by authorities of the applicant’s country of nationality or residence (issued within three months prior to the date of visa application and should be notarized by an authorized body or a diplomatic or consular mission) How to do this if I'm in Thailand now? - Evidence of the applicant’s professional qualifications and work experience How does this have to look like? - Approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand is required prior to submitting a visa application. How to get this?
  6. You can do the transfer without your daughter present, she just needs to give you a power of attorney to do the transfer into her name.
  7. Transferring the car is probably not too big of a deal, but you will need the car and the blue book to do the ownership transfer. To file a police report against the theft the presence of the heirs might be necessary though.
  8. Is there any embassy which issues a letter to request an extension? AFAIK not, so it doesn't even matter where op is from, if he checked "my embassy doesn't provide a letter" on the form then he applied for the extension 100% legit.
  9. You probably looked at regular 91 gasohol and some 95 premium fuel. I think the price difference between 91 and 95 regular gasohol has never been more than 20 Satang.
  10. Bleach removes them, but be careful to not cause bleach stains, speaking from experience. Vanish doesn't help.
  11. I thought this might be of interest to some: Recently I sent a Honda Wave from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. I had to take the motorcycle to the post office, together with 2 singed copies each of: The ownership page in the green book (I'm not the owner), the tax page in the green book, my passport. The girl in the post office completed the relevant forms for me, I just signed them. Cost was about 1900 baht, it arrived 4 days later at the post office in Bangkok, where the recipient had to pick it up.
  12. A while ago here was a thread about testosterone, with a question about Testosterone from Rotexmedica being out of stock in Thailand. Back then (maybe 2 months ago already?) I called the distributor, and they told me in 1-2 months it should be available again (which would have been last month or so), which I posted in that thread. My stock is running low now, so I called them again, and I did again get the info "in 1-2 months". So it sounds like they have no idea when it's actually arriving, but at some point they will probably have it again.
