  1. A minor can hold shares, but can't be the director.
  2. I would make a custom rear rack for the motorbike. Make a rack which has a stem that fits into the "seat tube" of your bicycle. Then you just remove the seat from the bicycle, flip it upside down and slide it on the stem on your motorbike rack. Of course you have to do some measurements, as to how far back the stem has to be, in what angle, etc. so that you can still sit on your motorbike. This would probably be the most compact solution.
  3. No fixed rule, you could apply for the 30 day extension just after entering Thailand, but some immigration offices might refuse to give you the extension then and tell you to come back when it's closer to expiry, no idea why they do it though... I would recommend to just go in the last one or two weeks, then you shouldn't have a problem. If it's important for you to know tell the people here which immigration office you will attend, maybe somebody can share their experience with this specific office.
  4. Since a few years Honda only sells the low version of the CRF in thailand
  5. They want to know the expiry date of your current permission to stay, not of your actual visa.
  6. Document 12 in this topic: Afaik there is no rule against you converting your visa exempt to a non-ED, but a subsequent extension would not be possible, so you would have to leave after 90 days, because your stay exceeded one year already. On these grounds immigration might not issue you a non-ED visa.
  7. This thread is about using an IDP (+foreign license) to drive in Thailand, not about obtaining a Thai license.
  8. Who is "they"? In your previous post you were talking about the DLT. The DLT has nothing to do with foreign driving licenses / foreign IDPs. Just because some people agree on something doesn't make it right. If you join a flat earth group you will find many people who agree that the earth is flat, does that mean it really is?
  9. Both can be used in Thailand, the 1968 was ratified just 2 years ago, since then it can be used as well. There was even a new here back then, maybe you can find it through Google. Edit: KhunBENQ was 30 seconds faster ????
  10. This was never the case, just misinformation spread on the internet. We know for certain that there is nothing like a 3 months limit, the law is clear regarding this. The only thing which is not 100% clear is if an IDP is required or the home country license alone is sufficient, so better be safe than sorry and get an IDP. You can ride with home country license + IDP as long as it's valid. The only people who can't use it are Thai citizens and foreigners who have permanent residency status in Thailand.
  11. After the original loan was paid off, was it transferred into her name?
  12. So you paid 3000 baht to some random guy outside the building.... I've never been to Pattaya DLT, but I'm quite sure that the employees work inside the building. As previous posters said, cost would have been a few hundred baht, 2000 something baht went into the pocket of the guy outside the building. Next time walk inside and get a queue number. That's the same as when a random guys approaches you at the exit of an airport and says he is a taxi, but then you end up paying a multiple of the usual price... because the official taxis are found at the taxi counter.
  13. In your post above you literally said "You dont need a DL at all".
  14. A tourist visa doesn't give you a right to drive, don't post such nonsense.
  15. I personally sold a motorbike which was in my name in Udon Thani to a Thai, a certificate of residence was definitely not required. We did the transfer at the DLT, no agent involved.
  16. AFAIK the DLT in Chonburi is the only DLT which requires one from the seller. In all other provinces it's not required.
  17. The first Thai license is always for two years. When you go to extend it after these two years and hold a non-immigrant visa you will get a 5 years license, without a non-immigrant visa you will get another 2 years license.
  18. And if it's not their registered hospital (and not an emergency), then they pay. The same rate as foreigners.
  19. In most government hospitals yes, same rate for Thais and foreigners. There are some who have dual pricing, but these are usually in tourist hotspots, not a village hospital in nakhon nowhere.
  20. If you have the bill let a Thai speaker call the hospital and confirm that the bill is from them. You could also post the bill here (remove personal details) to get the opinion of other members. If you decide to pay for it only pay directly to the hospital.
  21. You are supposed to go on that date, but you won't have problems if you go a few days later, just say how sorry you are that you forgot it.
  22. The last time I was looking for a rental in the Bangkok area I contacted 10+ agents, many didn't even bother to answer, waste of time. In the end I rented directly from an owner.
  23. You should specify where you are, a recommendation in Chiang Mai might not be of much use if you stay in Bangkok.
  24. The scam to which OP fell victim is only possible because he chose COD. You can't open the parcel before paying.
