  1. I take this service bus occasionally, at the moment there is a bus every 10 minutes in either direction. The last one I was on had seat belts, but mine did not work. Amazing no one was killed
  2. Seppius replied to champers's topic in Pattaya
Just walked past and looked in the immigration Jomtien, the place is packed to the rafters, people queuing outside, but the 90-day reporting has its own section at the front clearly marked
  3. Not seen this mentioned, slow burner, but very entertaining, cant go wrong with Mads Mikkelson. Danish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuo4NVFt1JE The poor soldier Ludvig Kahlen arrives in 1755 on the barren Jutland heath with a single goal: to follow the king's call to cultivate the land and thereby achieve wealth and honor himself. But Kahlen quickly makes an enemy. The merciless landowner, Frederik De Schinkel, who is sole ruler of the area, believes that the heath belongs to him and not the king. When De Schinkel's serf runs away with his wife Ann Barbara and seeks refuge with Kahlen, the landowner does everything to drive Kahlen away and at the same time exact a cruel revenge. Kahlen does not bow, but stubbornly takes up the unequal battle and now risks both his life, but also the bond with the small, troubled family that has arisen around him on the heath.
  4. It's the much bigger picture, plenty on Earth trying to fix things here, if our species is to survive we must get off the planet at some point. Have to start somewhere

  7. I remember those times well, they played dice not cards, and the music was great ,square bar in the middle, same guy still owns the bar with a Thai business partner "Andy" German guy. I was in there 4 nights ago.

  10. The guy owns a Bentley. B20 million plus here
  11. This guy on Youtube does some great videos on the sois https://www.youtube.com/@BangkokPat/videos
  12. LotusFresh near me is a big improvement, added fresh meat/fish cabinet for one thing, my only gripe about this one, not very good at marking the prices properly, but they often have 200 grams of Anchor butter for B71 on a buy 1 get 1 deal
  13. Thanks, just an update, I just came back to Pattaya, they now have a dedicated window at each station, so you don't have to queue ,must have been just starting when I went a while ago
  14. Absolutely no point in booking online, as I found out. https://www.busonlineticket.co.th Thought I was being clever, booked the 12 noon bus, got to north Pattaya bus station about 20 mins to 12, turns out you still have to get in the queue (which was long)at the window, wait while the person scans your ticket, then look for you on the list to tick you off, I asked for a window as usual, and never got it. I just made the bus in time. Waste of time booking a seat with busonlineticket, get there 40 mins before you want to travel is fine this time of year
  15. I am very sensitive person, so I should be careful Well my girlfriend says I am very sensitive
  16. Fairly simple ingredients, easy to make at home. I just tone down the chilli
  17. I always ask in a bar if it's OK, most don't seem to mind these days, except clubs
  18. The forum should either open them up to see who is ranking your post, or do away with them, except tick maybe, someone is always confused at my posts whatever I say, obviously someone I have upset in the past.
  19. Me too, in that run down mall, strong stuff it was
  20. Looks like https://1337x is down for the last couple of days
  21. This series was excellent, what a talent that young lad is. All the characters well played, and a good story
  22. Good time to buy shares in 7-Eleven, because a good percentage will be spent there
  23. You can buy turmeric caps from 7/11. B17 for ten, been taking them for a while now, for their general heath properties
  24. Every time I browse though TikTok these days, it seems its full of people in their 20/30s saying they are moving to Thailand
