  1. from your cave, well done.
  2. That's great, it means none of those trucks are near your cave - congratulations.
  3. Lane splitting was mentioned, not bollards.
  4. Thanks. If you don't know what i mean you must live in a cave.
  5. Thanks. My vehicle is 5 years old with 160K on it, no warranty, never had any issues with it at all just thought 10K maybe a bit frequent but perhaps not....
  6. Thanks for your input.
  7. They suggest every 10K, sounds a bit frequent for me? It would mean about every 10-12 weeks, something i'd rather not have to shell out for if unnecessary. Opinions?
  8. Where's our resident doom monger @Leaver now that pattaya is thriving again - lol.
  9. Totally irrelevant point, they have money, that's ALL that counts - nothing else.
  10. LOL So if i drive behind a truck on my motorbike i will stay 'mostly' dry - really?
  11. Also lower than wing mirrors.
  12. There was recently a push to clamp down on the pick ups with the wheels that stick out past the wheel arches, doubt anything will change. These tend to be the same pick ups that pump out the nasty black smoke.
  13. I agree, you see them driving along the road with the trays, no doubt for hours on end.... why on earth anyone would want to consume that is beyond me.
  14. Until they're 40 and haggard with a 'you know what' smashed in so bad it resembles a wizards sleeve. You still see the 40/50 and i suggest some maybe even 60 year old slags in Pattaya, think they're having fun?
  15. Does n't matter how cheap the rent is, if there's no customers you're destined for failure.
  16. Speculation. I know many foreigners that have been in RTA that have not 'lost'. Likewise with divorces and child custody. Most just give up trying and are prepared to get walked all over, are you one of them?
  17. You don't understand what i'm trying to say. Bi Bi.
  18. I do a lot of driving in Thailand, i've seen the busses in action - no thanks.
  19. You've obviously misinterpreted my comment, i don't mean they have someone on their payroll as a 'driver' i mean a regular person / taxi driver they use. This may explain why you got your knickers in a twist. Some people do have drivers the btw.
  20. Most people that have been here a long time have a regular 'driver' they used, most likely based on safety and reliability.
  21. I've been on a bus in Thailand once, from Phuket to Chumphon ( do you know where that is? ), this was more than 20 years ago and i've not been on a bus since. I drive myself where i need to go and the wife will pick me up from the airport.
  22. You have control over what speed the moronic taxi driver travels at, try telling a bus driver to slow down. Plus you have seat belts in a taxi.
  23. Do you stalk him?
  24. How on earth can people think bus drivers are safe??? Amongst the worst drivers on the roads.
