    No I didnt know her but if someone who is 26 cant look after themselves then they need to be taught not bailed out.

    I never lend. Last person I helped was an old woman who didnt have enough money for the bag of rice and a couple of other things. I paid for her and gave her the change.

    I was 5 or 6 when my mother opened a savings account for me. Trouble with the young people of today they don't want to learn. After all why learn when you are entitled to everything you want?

    Thailand should introduce public flogging like the Isle of Man used to have. You would find crime would drop massively if they did.

    Maybe just miserable UK with all the things that are going on there. Seems a bit crazy to pay for a flight and then to try and commit suicide on it.

    I have been here for 40 years. Been stopped for speeding which I admitted but never been fined.

    Interesting how the concept of extortion by police is frequently brought up. I have been stopped by the police and never has anything unprofessional occurred. Could it be the people the police stop and who allegedly experience such acts, law breakers and get a bit anti that they have been stopped?

    I ill take your word for that but a Debit card pays the money to the seller immediately, a credit card doesn't.
