I eat a variety of foods in Thailand (Western, Meditaerian, Greek, Indian. Japanese, Korean, and hardly any Thai food except Tom Yum Kung (Thai comfort food for me). I find It is still cheap, specially all types of services. Just for an example, In the USA I just ordered today from Apple bees for a meal costing $20. Delivery charges, and numerous fees amounted to another $15. The delivery person won't deliver to my house because I paid a meagre 15% tips on the last delivery. In Thailand I find I can get comfort for far cheaper than in the USA. For example, taking a taxi, ordering foods when I don't want to cook, etc. Nobody wants to replace my vanity top unless I change my entire vanity in the Bathroom. Labor is extremely expensive now in The USA. They say people are making more money doing tik tok than any jobs that involve labor. LOL

Is 75 day tourism guaranteed?

IOs will hardly ask for onward flights but airlines may ask. It is like hit and miss. I have travelled extensively in Europe with a US passport and asked for onward flights thrice in my life. Again as I said it is hit and miss. -
Huawei used to be good phone but no more. Get a Xiaomi (or POCO brand of the same company for a cheaper line), or Samsung. My next Thailand phone will be a POC but it has to wait at least a few more years.

Most in expensive phones screens are terrible. I pay a premium (premium for me is not more than $300 (on sale) for screen only.

I always use my US visa/MC in 7/11 for anything more than 300 baht. For less than 300 baht, I have don't use CC in Thailand. Hence, not sure.

Pattay is the best place for me for my 6-month stay in a year outside the USA. Thailand has better infrastructure, good healthcare, variety of reasonably priced foods from all over the World, Jomtien beach for a evening stroll, malls and plenty of options for sugar babies. I just hope the Baht stay weak vs dollar for a foreseeable future to keep me in good financial shape with my $3000 SS payment starting from 2026. -

Hope it reaches 40 and stay there for at least a decade for Thailand to recover to pre-covid economic growth. -
Have done that for almost a decade and nothing happened. Use an agent that will not send your passport outside your immigration jurisdiction.
-
Always done that for more than a decade. 15K was worth to replace all the hassle, paperworks, time spent in immigration offices and one 90-day visit, and not to mention 800K in a Thai bank earning next to nothing. Money I earned not putting 800K in a Thai bank was more than the agent fees I paid. And when I pay agent fees, I support a lot more people and their aspirations in exchange for their kind act of allowing me to stay in Thailand. For the last two years I am spending the winter in Las Vegas and there is no need to for my 6-month stay anymore. Will do it again if needed.

I have done it and always carry two - one is a laptop and the other is a NUC. I already have monitors in all three properties in the USA and Thailand that I own. If possible sell the desktop and buy a NUC.

Watch for sales in BIg C. I bought a brand new LG 42-inch smart TV for my new condo for 8K three years ago. Though I never use a TV but my GF insisted it is a cheap price and a new Condo without a TV looks like barren.

Sending money from Thailand to Australia

Whatever you do, please dont use crypto. Using crypto is like feeding crypto trolls who may have vested interests and you may lose a lot of money. -
What a croc. The foundation of Western World is on the colonial looting and American foundation is based on slavery. White people have the same rights as others but they are jealous now because other groups are demanding and getting the same rights that Whites enjoyed for centuries.

Hundreds of places. God (if there is one) save Thailand from quality tourists who need recommendations for a barber.

This is an interesting situation. I assume he entered Thailand with a visa exempt and then got his approval letter for Non-O in the email. May be the best course of action will be to go to an immigration office and find out if it possible to convert the exempt entry to an Non-O or not. If not, how about leaving the country and renter with the e-visa for full 90-day permission to stay.

And brothel owners and police don't have any problems, but brothel clients have issue. Just take it with the brothel owners instead of posting it here. Oops forgot that some people only have one place on Earth to voice their opinion and it this forum crated for brothel visitors to vent their frustrations.
-
As long as they let brothels to continue as bars, they will let other businesses to also continue. You see, brothel owners don't have any issue and they allow these people to conduct their business inside their brothels. Why it bothers you?
