people talking about overstays 20 and now 44 years ago. lol. good stuff. I'll beat that. I remember in 1902 when they created the Thai Baht my great great grandfather needed to get on a boat to Laos and they didn't recognize the five baht coin. They talked to a local leader and he was immediately approved for the last boat out....if not, well, he had a passport but not really checked so maybe it wouldn't have been a problem. He was there to cut down some Teak trees. same stress, everyone wasn't sure what would happen!!!! lol

First, PERMANENT wall between Thailand and the North and West. The YaaBaa is transported through Thailand, not necessarily manufactured here. If someone from there wants to visit Thailand, flights only. Secondly, this will cause the price of YaaBaa to go to zero. The build-up of supply. Thirdly, weekly YaaBaa tests of all government workers related to the YaaBaa transportation. Lastly, tell parents if kids busted for YaaBaa they lose their house. killing isn't the answer, we saw that in the Philippines with like 50,000 murdered and nobody really knows if some were politically motivated and a set-up. Possibly 15,000 were not on drugs but killed to get them out of the picture.

Do you know WHY tyres are Black ?
Iamfalang replied to Social Media's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I always learn from Tik Tok. Especially about Tires. Tires also cause enough particle pollution to kill millions...... and made so they will not last. and if a slave working in a rubber plantation, well, just don't think about that stuff because those people are also dying for profit -
No question killings are in the news more than when I was here 12 years ago. Maybe it's the internet, maybe news stations not afraid to cover it, or maybe there ARE more killings. The date: 9 October 2022. Let's see how long until the next article. Note: 2022 versus 1980. 1980 probably was actually safer, but I would still rather live in 2022 even with a much greater risk of being shot and killed. I'm still amazed I get sports for free when only a few decades ago I was waiting until the Nightly News to watch 10 seconds of highlights. Not to mention all the free books and movies and other nice videos....lol

CNN Reporters get visa revoked, face possible prosecution
Iamfalang replied to KhunBENQ's topic in General Topics
Could you imagine 365 coverage of CNN basically telling Americans NOT to come to LOS? Yea, there's way too much money lost and tourists lost if they put these jokers behind bars. Since the entire world follows America, Thailand would have a tourist problem. -
CNN Reporters get visa revoked, face possible prosecution
Iamfalang replied to KhunBENQ's topic in General Topics
I don't even trust myself......lol...... My point is CNN paid for "reporters" to come to LOS. They didn't send Billy and Cindi, they sent experienced clowns. These clowns know the law. as they say.......................there's more to the story. Because it's an American company, we WILL learn the story (true or false). If anywhere else in the world, the article would land you in jail for 10 years even if true. -
Now threatening violence, murder.......yea, this isn't going to help your case. Now we should report the falang for wanting to kill a Thai. sounds pretty bad........................looking for a hit man on a thread. should be reported!!!!

LOL. Breaking the law to the falang??????? You are a visitor. Meth head can be very, very dangerous. Get the police, then they will want revenge on you You want to make their life very bad, then think it will be OK for you? NO leave immediately, lesson learned.

Many Areas Of Bangkok Flooded After Torrential Rain
Iamfalang replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Most of the super rich live in BKK....you have to go there to get super rich. It has everything. The super rich can escape BKK easy. Flooding is certainly a problem for the poor. If poor, don't live in BKK. You cannot enjoy what BKK has to offer.....like looking at Ferraris Monday and taking a helicopter across town for a caviar lunch. If I was poor and Thai, I would never be in this flooded area. Go to Chiang Mai with 100,000 baht of stuff bought from China, sell to falang for 800,000. Happens every week. Then get rich and go back to BKK. -
good luck every finding answers on this one. 16,000 is horrible. falang teachers from 30 to 35 and then all of a sudden a GOV'T school offers 50k rottee seller once told me they do 30 a month and sometimes 50. I don't have proof. then you have jokers with 300 in debt and they can tell you anything. gotta figure the avg. Thai income is just under 20 but after 20 years it can really ramp up over 100 if doing gov't work

Guten Tag. lol There will be headaches. When I flew with my bike, I had to pay 7000 baht. It was worth it back then, not now. Now I would buy a 26 inch basic bike (8000 baht or maybe a little more) since it's easy to find parts for that size (and tubes, tires, etc..) and bring a bag from home with a helmet, pump, patch kits (they aren't very good here) and some good water bottles (not very good here). As far as a bus, I bet you could just throw the bike in with luggage with both wheels off for a slight fee. Renting seems like a big hassle. Store open, find the size, forced to pay since only one store (ripped off, scammed) and pay for any "damages" when you return it, plus other headaches....I'd never do that personally. then, at your last overnight stay, leave the bike with them and say you will get it later. maybe tip them 500 baht or something. They will store it and probably ride it too, but whatever it's better than giving it away unless you really find someone who needs one. The key word is "decent" bicycle. It's impossible to tell. Might be fake, break, horrible, the worst, or a good deal....I've seen it all. Tires that exploded after 10 kms and some that last 4000.

Please suggest a self defence for my age?
Iamfalang replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Run is 100% the best answer. Not for me, my mind has the power to control dark matter. This website took down the sad emojis because if I got one more I would destroy the planet. If I didn't practice Buddhism, I would take over the world. For all other mortals, run. 100%, run. You HAVE to trust your gut instinct. If you sense danger, run. run. -
Thailand Has 50:50 Chance Of Procuring F-35 Fighters: Air Force Chief
Iamfalang replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
America, if you are reading this, get me a Thai citizenship where I can also keep my American citizenship!!!! Put this in the contract, or 50:50 goes to NO. OK, I'll take 10 million baht to help negotiate with a couple Kraps and Kap Kap Kap. Work Permit included, of course. USA, USA...... Get mad other countries, Thailand doesn't want your paper airplanes!!!!! lol -
They "accept" it in a very strange way, complete silence. They KNOW something is off, and fingers are pointing to them, but the silence works because we are not in a county where people keep pressing for answers. . They break something of yours. Sometimes you get the "Mai bpen rai." Better than nothing. Then comes the bigger issues: They take your car and crash it. Silence. More silence after a few questions. They think maybe it's the car's fault!!! Then it might even be your fault!!! Then silence. More silence. From experience, karma does work. Last time a lady broke something of mine and acted like it was my fault, her phone broke and cost her 2000 baht. can't win here......impossible.

Police chief confirms no traces of drug found in gunman
Iamfalang replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
wow, now I'm shocked. I only lived in ONE city where I had zero Thai male friends. I do plan on going back there. This is just next level insane, and a jealous Thai really goes full nutjob. Knifing kids while not on drugs? not just one, like 30!!!! I do have to advise people to consider bigger cities, I do think they are safer as there are more police who care about the image towards tourists. Yea, one bad apple does a lot of damage....................... -
I don't mind it, since it keeps this tragic event in the spotlight; HOWEVER, it's too soon for this. I would have expected this next month, not a few days after.

Shopkeeper Arrested For Bashing Up Foreign Tourist With Skateboard
Iamfalang replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
You only want to believe it happens infrequently. It's only REPORTED infrequently, and I've seen it here more than other falang countries. Here with my own eyes, in falangland on the news. -
Thailand has the highest number of privately owned guns in ASEAN
Iamfalang replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Impossible, I told all my friends Thailand was full of Buddhists. Before I left, I told them they have a gun problem. When I was driving away, I yelled at them for their senseless violence. I said their police department is full of idiots. Well, at least I have my 20 baht noodle soup. -
his daddy being the Pres and knowing the GREATEST SECRETS the world has ever known might be a little bit of an important fact. The Pres is told about 88% of everything. We are told 0.0008 percent. Hunter probably knows about 25%. This is worth about 28 trillion dollars to a country. Yes, I'm an online expert and my %'s are accurate. but you get my point. this dude ain't never going behind bars..... never.

Pheu Thai call for government action to prevent shooting incidents
Iamfalang replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The once-elephant in the room is YaBaa YaaBaa YaaaaBAAAAAA OK, make sure not one pill gets into Thailand. If not, this is like talking to a falang after 100000 beers in Pattaya he cannot touch a girl as the government said they have taken action to prevent falangs from touching girls. Get a cracked up meth head and sit him (usually a guy) down and explain to him the laws. Then give him some more crack and meth and ICE..... then see how he acts. good luck on this one.
