This is Thailand. This is a school in Thailand. This is how it's done, and we all know it. NOW, if you have a kid at a Thai school and you do NOTHING about it.......you, as a parent with a brain, are responsible. As a parent, you know this can happen every day and you should pull your kid(s) out of school. If not, you need to take some blame. You will read the article, say "OK" and off your kid goes to school. Which is exactly why this stuff keeps happening....the parents really don't do enough to protect their kids.

I had friends buy me stuff on Shoppee.... got a watch that seemed fake, solar battery died, I gave to a student and they were happy. Maybe 3 other items junk, and a few average at best. NOW I'm shopping there myself........ Only using trusted sellers, many reviews (4 stars or higher), and keeping each purchase under 2000. I'm happy. Quick delivery, expectations met, and seems fine. I won't use Lazada. I don't trust them. Hey, we can't all be the same. I also am 100% sure that Facebook marketplace is better. You still have to filter the clowns and use some common sense, but I've spent 100,000 there and the quality has beaten my expectations.

I'm literally hearing a "house" being built now, bang, bang, and I asked the owner of this hotel how much it might cost to build....she said maybe 300,000. It is like a container shed, maybe 2 floors, your basic "house" built in a few weeks. Looks like it will be good if you want to visit a "house sauna" I admit, it has a "roof" (typical metal stuff) and plumbing and electricity and blah blah blah... But I really do think a $400k house is about 10x better than a $200k house in Thailand. A $100k house in Thailand will allow you to survive .... but I'd still rather rent a nicer place. Chiang Mai will eventually go back to all chinese and the pollution issue will never go away. This "house" will be a prison for six months, impossible to sell. not advised to buy anything in Thailand. not now.

Does seem the wettest/heaviest/most severe rainy season in the last seven years (my time in LOS), but I'm in a different city about every year. a little lazy to find data......tried for a few minutes... October just started and is usually the 2nd wettest month. 6-7 years ago, October was pretty dry. I have a feeling that won't be the case this year. No worries, I'm not in a flood zone. Hanging out at a friend's house, probably watching TV. In Thailand, there were Internet Cafes for 10 baht an hour......that killed some time. Internet and no smartphone is fine with me..... I was in my 20's....... took WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to long for those nice pictures to load....... lol. one line at a time. AOL messenger..... before the internet I was basically a kid and had a car... Everyone's going to be slightly different......here, just more time with family. well, more time talking to one's family I mean

I get it, high-school kids drink. 15 to 19. they are going to drink no matter what.. BUT BUT you do not condone a business that caters to this kind of behavior. If you have a kid and catch they drinking at a friend's house, OK. If grown people are trying to sell them alcohol as a business in a bar......well, that's wrong.

Rabies shots do take time..... weeks.... BUT it's WAY WAY cheaper in Thailand and now you have a reason to get them. definitely recommended. I got them a few years ago.......

I have a -40 C sleeping bag on my bed, two wool hats ,down jackets for blankets, and use real bricks instead of those bad concrete walls during the winter (replace every year, of course)...... I have three women on call for extra body warmth, and a fire pit running 24/7 for emergencies........my workers walk me around the fire pit until the local witch doctor checks my body temperature. layering is key........Woolley mammoth fur seems to keep me slightly warm. i feel you bro.....
