  1. passport, house owners ID, copies of house book, I did that but then what do you do? Registered but the password they sent did not work
  2. Is there a guide on here? I registered on the new website, they sent a password in numbers, that did not work despite turning off VPN and trying other browsers. Filled in the form where you enter details and uploaded pics of PP, house owners ID and two pages from the blue house book. No response via email and cannot see where you enter arrival date etc. Not as easy as 90 day reporting, how is it meant to work?
  3. Bet he uses an agent and is on a doggy visa extension 😃
  4. Far less dangerous and more joyous than they used to be is my experience, still I've only been about 1200 in 25 years. You are far more likely to see trouble at a football match in the UK, some northern 'fans' even boo their own national anthem, racially abuse black players or only go for a punch up outside. There are hundreds of music concerts all over the country every night, one shooting and the scaremongering starts. 😔
  5. Mai tai was good when he was with Seang Issan and for a few years after he was chucked out. Last time we saw him he was like a parody, lots got up and left, pity. His biggest hit, Baksidur
  6. Buffalo's are about 50k baht, get a dog!
  7. This 'cat' has just been elected MP for Rotherham, God help the UK
  8. Another one who came (to Pattaya) and fell in love with the culture 😄 Temples actually often lose money on concerts, or they are paid for by donors, sometimes a sponsor hires the singer/band and hope to make a profit on tickets sold. Other times beer companies sponsor them, yes on temple grounds. It's not as simple as monks sitting back and making a killing, usually they only get money from people making merit and those renting stall space at wat fairs.
  9. Well I registered and the password they emailed did not work, filled it out and uploaded passport image, wifes Id and 2 pages of house book, no response so no idea what to do next.
  10. So many 'experts' on here, they need to actually go to some real concerts
  11. Not true, they normally search bags and pat down for booze, but sometimes its a sponsored event by beer companies where they are selling beer inside. When it comes to musical styles phua cheewit is the worst for trouble and Carabao infamous for a flash point. The only time they came to our local wat they were cancelled due to worries about kids kicking off. Security is normally good these days, long time since a saw drunks or crazy ladyboys being bashed with sticks and dragged off. Village concerts might be somewhat different, I did go to one in Ubon years ago near the border with 2 village group rival turning up. Security announced even dancing was off the cards, and any who got up to dance got a bop on the head! It was like that kids game in the arcade bash the frog. Who was the superstar?
  12. Not really I have been to about 1200, almost always the only foreigner and never had a problem. Years ago though we went to a JIntara concert, not many there. After sometime the was a loud bang, followed by screams and everyone running off the stage. Asking the mrs what was going on she said at the same event last year somebody got shot and people thought there might be a revenge attack tonight. When I asked her why she never told me she said, well If I had you would not have come ! It was only a car backfiring. Apart from that had somebody chasing another past me a knife at a lam cing concert. I'd say behaviour standards are better these days. Wonder who was playing at this Ubon concert?
  13. Just having a go at this, but it seems you do need house book and house owners ID card to copy and upload to the site, if you can actually manage to register!
  14. True, a bike hit us when we were turning right, he was riding in the gutter on the wrong side of the road. Police verdict was that he could, and was overtaking, without asking him. But he did it at a junction so illegal anyway- Police verdict not a real junction! When asked in hospital he said he never even saw our car, I also found out he was drunk- we got the blame.
  15. Some are breaking the law then, quite outrageous that this nonsense goes on when they are all well aware of the June 2020 change. Of course fines would have nothing to do with it.
  16. TM30 probably they wont even give a ticket out at my office without seeing one, they dont do departure/entry cards any more
  17. I'm pity you. Probably insufficient education?? That's how they speak in Limerick then?
  18. Not a native English speaker then?
  19. The trouble with the word racism it's been over used and wrongly used so often it's become almost as meaningless as 'Free Palestine'
  20. Along with probe, brace and new commer soft power
  21. Karma is a myth for simpletons to believe in
  22. When and why did all these food allergies start? when I was a kid in the 50's the only thing like this people suffered from was hay fever or asthma and few of those, food allergies were unheard of. 50k is peanuts, must by a typo, 50 million more like.
  23. Course on child care might be more helpful
  24. No prices have some down in any shops yet that I have been to, 7/11, Tops, Foodland all the same, apart from one or two increases !
