  1. The BiBs sure know how to make their modest salary go far. A person working as a Police Officer in Thailand typically earns around 60,400 THB per month. Salaries range from 27,800 THB (lowest) to 96,000 THB (highest). http://www.salaryexplorer.com/salary-survey.php?loc=215&loctype=1&job=504&jobtype=3
  2. Video date stamp says August 5 but this just became public a few days ago. Those other cops on the run are long gone by now.
  3. I drove through Soi Buakow yesterday, the barber shops are closed but a couple of them had a person or 2 sitting outside the shops, I'm guessing if you approach them they'll agree to a home visit.
  4. A senior policeman like this doesn't get to his position without having an "escape plan".
  5. Typical Thai behavior; helping, considerate, displaying empathy and being thoughtful.

  7. In addition to the advice already given, do what you can to prevent this from happening again. She may well think she got away with it one time so why not do it again.
  8. I like walking around our local Decathalon here in Pattaya and TBH I never considered shopping online with them but will give them a try, thanks for the review. Google: Decathlon S.A. is a French sporting goods retailer. With over 1647 stores in nearly 1000 cities in 57 countries and regions, it is the largest sporting goods retailer in the world.
  9. Unlicensed driver, texting, asleep, drunk, etc, pfffft. IMO with no other cars on the motorway it looks like a case of "target fixation". Wikipedia; Target fixation is an attentional phenomenon observed in humans in which an individual becomes so focused on an observed object (be it a target or hazard) that they inadvertently increase their risk of colliding with the object. It is associated with scenarios in which the operator is in control of a high-speed vehicle or other mode of transportation, such as fighter pilots, race-car drivers, paragliders, and motorcyclists.[1] In such cases, the observer may fixate so intently on the target that they steer in the direction of their gaze, which is often the ultimate cause of a collision
  10. It seems driver license policies can vary day by day depending on who's working the desk and the customer, your best answer will come from the DLT office itself.
  11. Trump reached a deal with the Taliban in February 2020, which stipulated that US troops would be withdrawn from Afghanistan within 14 months on the condition that the Taliban not turn the country into a terrorist base. The agreement had been widely criticized at the time for acceding to the Taliban and excluding the Afghan government. Pompeo attended the signing ceremony and took photos alongside Taliban leader Abdul Ghani Baradar, who is anticipated to head the next Taliban government in Afghanistan. Trump has now attempted to absolve himself from the situation and pinned responsibility solely on President Joe Biden for the Taliban's takeover and the Afghan government's collapse.

  14. "Can they really base vaccine mandates with 100% certainty on these vaccines being 100% effective against hospitalisation....and spreading?" Who or where are "they" saying vaccines are a 100% guarantee against hospitalization? I think of the covid vaccine like the seatbelts in my car, they help lessen the chance of injury in case of an accident, the vaccine helps lessen the severity of a covid infection.
  15. I guess I need to talk with my homeowner insurance agent. And I'm ever in need of some money I'll just stick my hand on someone's property that has dogs ????.
  16. The (Thai Justice) ministry will be able to produce 20,000 x 500mg tablets of Fah Talai Jone per hour... There isn't a department better suited to produce the tablets?? What next? The Ministry of Tourism and Sports to defend Thai borders? 555.
  17. So because I have dogs that protect my home and a gap at the bottom of my front gate where the wheels are, and the gap is big enough for anyone to stick their hand/fingers, I should be sued if my dogs bit the person that came along and stuck their hand under my gate?? Ridiculous.
