  1. I'm not big on this types of videos on either side. But this does explain how Trump is attempting to deal with the courts.
  2. Any recent mobile phone would likely offer a better result than a web cam. There is software for Android named Microsoft Lens. It will allow you to take quality photos of documents and has an auto feature to square up the docs and save as jpg or PDF. I'm sure there are now other apps available, but I only use Lens and the results are of a high quality.
  3. Well a flat blade screw driver has the ability to either compress or expand a circlip. Based on its position will depend on if it is compressing, expanding (tensioning) or doing buggar all (technical term). Avoid doing buggar all. Add a tension and twist and robert's your mother's brother with a rag to catch it.
  4. I have always used a flat blade screw driver to fix and remove circlips and never had a failure. If you don't feel comfortable, use a rag to cover the area to catch the circlip if if it flies off.
  5. Dremel with a thin wheel might be okay. Failing that an agle grinder with a thin wheel. Get as many revs on the blade as possible to make the cut clean.
  6. Just as an aside, and knowing that Taiwan is not in the EU, they require IDP for any car hire and are very strict on it.
  7. Try this. https://linustechtips.com/topic/1398560-windows-subsystem-for-android-has-no-internet-access-even-though-i-am-connected-to-the-internet/?do=findComment&comment=15326332 Please keep us informed. I will look at the android VM at some stage and if you have a result, it will be good to keep a record of it.
  8. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Is there a virtual wifi created anywhere in Windows? If so, I would check if that is set as public or guest or whatever network. Also check firewall is allowing through virtual wifi or whatever Windows applet the Android VM is using. Although if some Store apps are working, that may not be the case. Unless sideloaded apps are somehow assigned a different IP? Maybe, if that is not working - and this is just a guess without much thought - could you find the virtual IP and forward that through your router? I recall some time ago that i set up a bunch of VMs for a customer using virtual box and something similar happened. I think I solved it in Windows with the firewall.
  9. Aye, they were good times. I often would never go to actual bars. I think around Soi 9 were some of my favs. I much prefer an early night and early rise these days but great memories. In those misspent times, I ended up 2 or 3 times at a club I think was in north BKK that never seemed to close. On the occasions I remember going there it was in a taxi late at night early morning with others. Left mid morning and straight into taxi often telling the driver where to take us before sleeping for the trip. I always thought it was up near Saphan Kwai but may not have been. The place was a haze of smoke and seriously loud music with no windows and up one level. Can't even remember the name.
  10. Sheryl, does your oyster light with cover off still have the the two circled pieces of circuitry connected or something similar? As Crossy mentioned, pop up a photo of your light without the cover. He will get your sorted 🙂 I really appreciate the expertise of the mods here.
  11. Depends if you put your keys in the bowl when you arrived or not
  12. I got some really good prices on 115mm flappy wheels for a while. I bought them out of stock in 40, 60, 80 and 120 grit. The price has now normalised.
  13. Bahn and Beyond have joined forces with Thai Watsuda and are builing new stores..There has been a combined store at Rama 5 for a while.. They are now called BNB
  14. Above was correct in that Trump will need to pay between 110%-120% of the total before a an appeal can be lodged. Let's see who stands up to offer Trump the funds. That will be very telling.
  15. Sure, but then he needs to sell other non NY assets at fire sale price because everyone in town will know he has his twins in a vice. Or is it the case that anything under the NY based LLC is up for grabs for freezing by Judge?
  16. What you have quoted is the maximum weight case, not the optimal weight that the bike is sprung for. At maximum weight case there is a possibility within margin of failure of the damping system seals, shaft or just plain overheating. If you care to reread the OP's post they want the best ride available to them. To achieve that, the bike needs to be sprung correctly and damped correctly to the rider's mass. I hope that clarifies for you.
  17. The link that I posted yesterday makes like of some quite stern rules in NY state about anyone attempting to appeal what most are expecting Judge Engoran to hand down. Apparently if found guilty, Trump will need to stump up the full amount of the ruling + 9% PA interest compounded since the case was opened back in 2016 just to attempt an appeal. That is a whole lot of coin. The article also makes the point that no bond agent or financial institution would likely touch Trump because if he were to win presidency, he could simply ignore any repayments to bond agency or financial institutions and they would have no recourse for a sitting president. If Engoron freezes assets as part of a ruling, then Trump couldn't liquidate real estate to raise funds. It will be interesting to see if some Russians or Arabs with deep pockets come to bail out Trump. Now that would be interesting. New York may just have pinned this grifter for good this time.
  18. Quite ans interesting read here. Open the link in privacy mode to avoid the paywall https://www.thedailybeast.com/inside-donald-trumps-incredible-cash-crunch?ref=home
  19. What is your weight? The Click springs are probably weighted for about a 45 - 55kg rider. Give YSS in Samut Prakan a call and see what they can do for you. Don't go to the local bike accessory dealer. Admittedly there is not a lot of travel in the Click suspension, but well weighted and oiled front and rear suspension will make a world of difference.
  20. Have you ever played with Node Red? You could use a little 8266 board with wifi to trigger a little stepper motor. I did something similar in principal a few years ago for fun and attached a powerbank to it. You may be looking for something more off the shelf, though. Can't help with that, though sorry. But in China town, there is a mall that heaps of Arduino style electronics shops and plenty of people there have kits for 3d printers. Those motors could do the job. It might be worth having a wander there. here is the mall https://maps.app.goo.gl/9Frk3sNZK161jZ8MA
  21. Android Oreo is going to be the next cutoff for newer apps soon. The previous cutoff OS version was generally KitKat. Brand name tablets generally keep up with security patches for up to 3 years. You may like to have a look at the Lenovo M10 version 3 tablet. I received one free from Lenovo with another purchase and suprisingly it isn't terrible. Support for OS to 2027 from memory. Often on sale. Also check specs, many different versions with differing RAM and ROM.
  22. Don't use the link to upgrade your browser. Upgrade it from the legitimate location for downloads and see if the warning goes away. It is quite possible that if you are using a very old version of the browser some or all features of Gmail may stop working with a future upgrade of Gmail.
  23. I use it occasionally. Usually 1 to 1.5 tabs gets me off to sleep in an hour or s. If I take 2 tabs i generally wake up drowsy.
  24. Not all the specs are the same. Look at the CAS and RAS to CAS timings on the 2 pairs of RAM I've just scanned this but it might be worth a read. https://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Computer_Memory_Performance
