  1. We can only do our best…
  2. They have 80 sq.m. One bedroom advertised openly for 25k. Additionally, most everyone is open to negotiating.
  3. Correct in getting it the wrong way around? Is that how you think it works? ????
  4. Oh yes, that’s what you wrote. Forgot about the MIL.
  5. I think you may have gotten it a little bit twisted. Try the other way around. It can work, if you know how.
  6. I made my suggestion and am happy to stick with it, since I’m one of the few here who actually knows what they are talking about. One other being newnative. It’s okay if you don’t understand it. That is not important. As long as the OP does. Other than my suggestion, I think Northshore on the Beach Road fits with the requested requirements. Still a bit of a walk to Best Supermarket or Terminal 21, but doable. The alternative is a Bolt car or taking a Songthaew all the way down to Walking Street and back down to the end of Second Road. Of course there is Central Festival, which would only require a walk down the Soi on the way back. I took all this into account when making my suggestion. The OP understands that.
  7. He certainly knows more than you do at this point ???? Cease to embarrass yourself and take your time to do read the OP carefully and then do at least a little research before spouting off.
  8. Only in your mind. For sure the OP won’t agree with you. Your ‘opinion’ is if no use here. Knowledge is what is needed. Yours, with regard to this request, is obviously limited. Don’t take it personally. Instead, prove me wrong if you can. I know simply by your statement that your knowledge of the area is limited. It’s a fact, not an opinion.
  9. It doesn’t matter what you ‘regard’ if your knowledge of the area is so obviously limited.
  10. On the other hand, it’s nice that there is someone for everyone. I mean, look at the relationship between yourself and bogs/bob. An eerily close relationship.
  11. Wow… I would hope some of the replies here are ‘tongue in cheek’. Dependent on the circumstances, I would take a couple of photos and then hand it in. Then perhaps put a post on social media that it was found and handed in at ….. There is no way that I would seek to profit from someone else’s loss ????
  12. Perhaps you didn’t read my other post with regard to the balcony design. Other than that, maybe you can start the ball rolling by providing a link to a 1 bed apartment there for 25k…

Some might consider that you are the lazy one. Too lazy to make the effort to seek out Banglamung Power Station via Google in the first instance, before insisting that he should provide a link for you; under pain of your ‘detesting’ him for not providing the information in exactly the way that you wanted it. So then some else had to make the effort for you. So who is really ‘lazy’ here and worthy of being ‘detested’? The person who made a worthy effort to help or you who did nothing other than to complain?
  14. It might be worth the pointing out that he hadn’t actually expired at all: https://thepattayanews.com/2023/08/17/maintenance-worker-nearly-drowns-in-pattaya-hotel-pool/
  15. How about you leave it to the person in question to decide what is best for themselves?

There’s also a ‘hobby shop’ on Soi Country Club. Named RC Part. Though it looks geared towards children. Pattaya Tai store looked more like something for enthusiasts.
  17. I have to say that I’m not a big fan of the railings on VT balconies. My balcony railing is 30 to 40 cms wide at the top. Comfortable for leaning against etc VT railings are just a pipe. For someone with epilepsy, I would suggest they take a look for themselves to decide if suitable.
  18. How will he be getting around? Walking? Taxis? Long or short term? Personally I would choose Naklua. That could give easy access to Terminal 21.

There was a shop on Pattaya Tai. Perhaps opposite Friendship. Not sure if it’s still there.

I don’t disagree with the SIAM Square area being a base. I used to direct people to Siam Square on occasion too. But I think the Centrepoint Silom/Bangrak area is better overall. Plus, I don’t want to put too fine a point on it, but the Novotel is way over budget anyway. Siam Square area perhaps good for a couple of days. But they can easily get there and Chatuchak via BTS, so they won’t be missing out on anything. Plus they’ll have the bonus of easy and beautiful access to the Old City attractions, including the Khaosan Road.

Exactly. Single male with other interests no doubt. You agree that they are fine for a visit or occasional stay, which is exactly what they are doing ???? One day at Chatuchak. Another exploring Bangkok by boat. Another day exploring the malls. Why would they stay at On Nut? It’s just nonsensical. River location is iconic for Bangkok. If you don’t know that then you don’t know anything.

100% is should be part of their trip. If you don’t do it, you haven’t experienced Bangkok. I’m not talking about single males looking for easy women. I’m referring to people who actually want to experience the essence of Bangkok.

Explain the hilarity involved. That your suggestion is hilarious because it’s also not within budget or that you think that travelling Bangkok by river is not an essential part of any real travellers to Bangkok… and the mere suggestion is hilarious? I’m missing the ‘funny’ part.

You should learn to read and comprehend before you embarrass yourself. The ‘experience’ of seeing Bangkok via the waterways. Not being an experienced person ????????‍♂️☺️
