Brutal assault at Chon Buri nightclub leaves young men seriously injured
NextG replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I’ve been to Cronulla ☺️ Lived nearby for a while. So it was great to see the reference ☺️ -
🤭 ‘Real mozzarella cheese’ made me smile.
-
This is just a ridiculous post 🤭 Perhaps you can show me the respected poll that puts NY/NJ pizzas at the top. No way! The only NA pizza rated highly are the places that try to copy Italian pizza. You haven’t even visited Naples, but yet you are writing about the top two places 😊 I’m sorry, but that is just crazy.
-
Actually you can get the ‘same’ ingredients, but mostly, they don’t use them as they are relatively expensive. Corners are almost always cut…. unless you pay for the privilege. Fortunately, I have an oven and stocks of the correct ingredients, so I can send out for a simple Marinara and then customise it with real Mozzarella etc using my own oven

A ‘real’ Italian Hawaiian pizza 🤭

It seem you who is being ‘churlish’ to someone who is obviously trying to help you. ‘Grumpy old man’ syndrome catching up with you? What he means it that there is a specific protocol needed(Widevine DRM Level 1, in addition to NetFlix certification) for NetFlix, and the like to show media in HD and beyond on mobile devices. In other words, without it, NetFlix will only output at 480p. That won’t look good on your 4K TV. Some boxes have a sort of workaround wherein they run an Android TV version of NetFlix that supposedly outputs in Full HD; I haven’t tested that. But likely it works if it doesn’t appear to be a mobile device. But NetFlix may block this at any time. MeCool are one of the few Android box distributors who have Widevine Level 1 DRM capability, but I’m not sure as to whether they are NetFlix certified. Fire TV sticks of course have that licence, hence the recommendation from some here.

So you have no picture then? ☺️ You don’t post it because you don’t have one 🤭 There are are few reasons as to why I KNOW that you are lying 🤥 It’s okay @spidermike007 it’s just weird that you’d lie about such a thing for no good reason. It actually turned into a decent discussion; with comparisons of the difference between the product sold in certain Asian countries and what you might be used to from perhaps the USA, but then you decided to flat out lie. Weird. All the more strange on your part, as I imagined that you, in particular, would resonate with the information that a certain company was behind the whole different recipe. But instead you just continued to compound your lie. A bit pathetic and pointless. I know it’s just the ‘Internet’ but…. Hey ho…. you do you. You can go back to posting your long winded ‘ cut and paste’ rants about Prayuth or China or …

🤭 So you’d rather spend a year whinging and whining, rather than to actually find a suitable place? I think a few of us had already figured that out about you. 😊 You have your current place on a 12 month contract. Lots of time to find something more to your claimed standard. But yet… -
I’m happy to be unique. Are you happy to be a bare faced liar with absolutely no integrity? Let’s be men and speak frankly. Take a PICTURE of the tin in Thailand that you claim to have seen and post it here. Again, shameful that you feel the need to lie over such a trivial matter. I used to think that you were a serious poster, however a bit ‘windy’. But no more. Low quality in my opinion.

Drunk British suspect refuses arrest and tries to injure Thai police
NextG replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Another nonsense story. There was no danger other than perhaps being knocked out by his noxious breath. He was just pretending that he was a Muay Thai fighter, but ‘telegraphed’ everything to show that he was just playing. Thai policeman reacted in an absolutely sensible manner. Of course his colleague was getting a little impatient and just wanted him to get into the back of the pickup. Laughable, but sadly typical to read @Jack Batty comment. -
It’s sad… are there only fake posters left on this forum? 100% @spidermike007 has not taken that information off an actual tin in Thailand, but perhaps a North American website. Does no one have any integrity left? Shame on you.
-
Sorry, but you are lying.

Take a picture and post it here. I simply do not believe you. You are just copying and pasting from a website. Pick up an actual tin in Thailand and take a picture.

I wasn’t referring to you, but the OP. Though you are still wrong about the money. I already have described my experience. -

I disagree with you in your assertion that’s it’s all about the money. In fact, in my current place, I am paying the least that I have in perhaps twenty years. It’s more to do with actually looking for what you want instead of sitting on your posterior looking at a screen and then acting like you know everything about an area. The people who know, know. -

JT… you live in the roughest area of Pattaya 🤭 What is wrong with you? What did you expect? Where I live there is no one hassling you at all. No one bothering you on the way to and fro the shops. As to ‘riff-raft’, I was absolutely appalled when I visited a friend’s condo and saw how ‘different’ it was there. There are some amazing places, but you have often to make an effort to find them. -

Your experience with the TOT NT Thunder SIM
NextG replied to Mickeymaus's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
It’s sold as Fixed Point Internet for use with a router. That’s why it’s priced in that manner. Hence the name NT Wireless, which differs from their product; NT Mobile, which are for use with mobile devices. You can try a product such as My by NT’s annual 10Mbps SIM mentioned earlier if your devices can see the signal. Check at your local NT(formerly CAT) office beforehand. -
It would be ‘smart’ to not make silly comments. If you ‘top up’ the validity extends itself. In this case intelligence would suggest that it’s best to top up in smaller increments. So for a 400 baht top up, perhaps 50 baht per time would add eight months to your SIM validity. But again, if pocket change, why concern yourself at all? Scrap it and get a normal SIM. It’s ‘pocket change’ after all.
-
They might offer a renewal package at a similar price. If they don’t in a timely manner then ask them to make an offer. If they don’t, ask for your MNP code. That often triggers an offer. Your SIM with a monthly cap has gone up to 2000 baht, so don’t expect a 1180 baht offer. The cheapest annual inclusive SIM is from My by NT. 1420 baht gets you Unlimited 10 Mbps https://www.lazada.co.th/products/my-by-nt-5g-4g-10mbps-60-1-ais-i207869159-s312936196.html
-
There are still quite a few annual unlimited data offers out there. From every network other than AIS. AIS has only monthly for new subscribers.
-
That’s an interesting product. Certainly different from the Marathon SIMs sold to the public. That’s not to say that it doesn’t exist. But the Marathon SIM sold over the past couple of years or so had only 60 minutes of any network calls and unlimited AIS to AIS calls, which were capped at 30 minutes per call. But you do get some different offers as an ongoing customer. I have unlimited data and unlimited calls on a monthly basis.

Good morning and a Merry Christmas 😊
-
‘Pocket change’ but yet you are asking as to whether you could ‘lose the money on the card’. Anyway, I hope you got the answer that you needed. That they can be extended indefinitely. Though I’m confused as to what money you think you could lose? The 899 baht SIM comes with 30 baht of credit. A spectacularly bad deal. A 50 baht AIS SIM with a 400 baht top up and the appropriate USSD code gets you 100 GB of ‘max speed’ access. You get 50 GB with a 899 baht Tourist SIM. It pays to ask here before travelling.

They are limited in the way that they aren’t guaranteed to work on high floors. So don’t expect any support for that. Whereas I live on a high floor and get full support from my network with any issues. Fifth floor or lesser and you can contact with any issues.
