Well, my post has nothing to do with going back to Canada and trying to justify it. I just like to keep things a bit realistic. There are plenty of things that are wrong with Canada, but for some reason weather and healthcare come up here a lot and that is simply not the true.

Let me guess.... a disgruntled Canadian that calls Thailand his "home". Thailand also has one of the worst climates in the world. I wonder how would you be able to live without air-conditioning? UK, Ireland, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and numerous other countries all have worst weather than Canada? Yeah, I don't think so. I grew up in Yugoslavia before I moved to Canada. I have done it a few times via simple and cheap registered mail with no issues whatsoever. If you have line you can register for fastship and you will see prices for every single courier before you ship. Fedex and ups is usually half the price using fastship. I would still recommend regular registered post because canadian side is nororious for charging brokerage fees using fedex and ups even if the items have no value.
