It is terrible. The Jap company that supplies auto parts and electronics my wife works for is in the red for the first time ever. They started as representative company with only 1 Thai staff being employed (wife) and switched to full office when the times were good Probably going back to representative again....as the Japanese staff in Thailand has proven time and time again that they prefer to enjoy the country instead of working despite the massive influx of competitive Chinese product. One particular company from Taiwan has destroyed them...what a hell...I'll mention it - Hiwin. Thais don't realize that once offices and factories are gone this is when the quality of life will go drastically down....along with GDP.

British Couple Outraged Over £9 Tin of Heinz Beans in Thailand

Best tasting food? No one wants to admit that they prefer McDonald's to Thai slop. That's why McDo does so well here. -

Oh look....the trollio got smacked like a little whiny bch and disappeared. No stupid threads since Tuesday. As he reads this reply he is furiously asking chatGPT about some better attention seeking threads he could post to boost his ego. -

You say this then you say that. So you agree tax avoidance is a crime. What percententage of foreigners pay taxes on their condo rentals in Thailand? -

I will buy all kind of junk on Lazada, but food is out of the question.... unless it is from the same verified supplier who sells to supermarket chains. -
Do you ever feel like a prisoner in Thailand?

We reported out last Taiwanese landlord for tax evasion (as was suggested here if they refuse to return the deposit). Thai tax revenue did not care. Don't forget, all these foreign landlords have bank accounts with monthly income being deposited from Thai and foreign tenants. It would be extremely easy for Thai revenue to start with them just by checking title deeds. as a matter of fact, if they are trying to enforce the existing laws they should start from foreign condo ownership. Nothing. Nada. However, I do not agree or disagree with you. I am just stating facts as I see them at this moment. Life can throw anything at you, so I always try to have plan B. -

This is something I do when I go with wife to do an extension. She helps me out as she owns a house, and this is where I am registered. It may become a bid deal, but last time (when I did a 60-day extension to visit wife) they did not even fine me for missing 3 90-day reports, they were completely clueless. This is why I have a great confidence they will never implement this tax nonsense, They are just not very smart to track even 1% of what they proposed. -

So, this is how I see it. I don't do 90 day reports because it is understood I can just pay a fine. When I arrived here, I completely understood that I will be a forever tourist. That did not change when I got married. Back in 2013-2015 you could still live really well and really free as a tourist. I did not mind travelling so I did endless border runs to Vientiane, KL, HK. Fun times. One thing I never expected was covid. That thing completely decimated my income. Another thing I never expected is to file taxes if not working in Thailand. When this happens, I am out and forever. This I did not sign up for, -

Why do so many people like Pattaya but hate Phuket?
Celsius replied to susanlea's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
For some reason I do feel safer in Pattaya than Phuket. I like big cities tho, and for the past 11 years I stay in Bangkok. -
Actually China also. My wife is Chinese and she wants nothing to do with anything that has 4 in it. Also that Feng Shui thing. It really ruing my porno experience with no mirrors above the bed. Accross the bed is fine, but there is TV and the door.

60,000 for us. Never bothered to calculate but will do now. Anyway here is our monthly (me wife no kids) breakdown: Condo 18,000 a month. This would be zero if I could tough it out in my wife's house near Rama 2 with f all to do around it. The condo rental also saves time wife driving to work. Car insurance 1500b a month. Gasoline 6000b a month. Food 20,000 a month minimum 75% Grab 25% cook at home). Her phone 600b My phone 500b Condo electric 1600b a month Water 200b month House electric 1000b month House internet/TV 1000b month Wife's 4 insurance policies around 1500b a month. Used for tax refund so probably less. I spend between 5000-10,000b on lazada every month buying household items, Lego, Star Wars toys and some other junk that i like. Car paid off house paid off long time ago. So to me this ibudget of 60,000 is a pretty basic life with no luxuries. I quit health insurance last year after trying to claim and getting denied every single time.

if you are single and your monthly budget is 15k or 30k that is perfectly ok... as long as you save at least 3x that amount every month.

Not even funny trolling. Not even a single chuckle from his numerous topics. And he seems to take a great offense to negative replies which makes him even more pathetic. I would tell him to get a life and bang a couple of 19 year olds but it must be difficult from mom's basement. -

Wow, clever. I'm sure if you asked a bargirl why she doesn't want a steady relationship her answer would be the same.
