You WON!

Hardly. I can log onto Social Security, access my "Benefit Letter", download and print to pdf file, in less than 3 minutes. The US State Department probably knows what I had for dinner last night. They're just plan lazy. I guess the fed now pays their "entertainment fund" now that they aren't charging $50 a pop to print and notarized a letter.

But it could look HUGE with mirrors on the walls!

I'm actually laughing. Almost 70 and I've NEVER returned anything to a convenience store. Since I shop on a scooter now, my buying is different than back in the USA. HOWEVER, we're you, at some point going to stop using trash bags? I used to buy the 300 pack at Sam's Club. I used to buy 24 rolls of TP too, because I've always known whe I no longer need TP, I won't worry about how many rolls I've left to "posterity"

Craig's List has classified ads. It's Bangkok based, then ad your location. In the search bar you type "Pattaya", or where ever, to get results.

After reading all the posts here and being close to the end of my lease, I've concluded that I'll move to Ukraine for some peace and quiet. You guys ........ sheesh!

Foreigner Filmed Stealing Money From Exchange Booth in Pattaya

It's only safe to steal from the government. They're too stupid to keep track of it and when they realize they've been robbed It's 2 years later. IE: The United States Government. -
From Medicare website: Travel outside the U.S. Medicare usually doesn’t cover health care while you’re traveling outside the U.S. There are some exceptions, including some cases where Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) may pay for services that you get on board a ship within the territorial waters adjoining the land areas of the U.S. However, Medicare won't pay for health care services you get when a ship is more than 6 hours away from a U.S. port. Medicare may pay for inpatient hospital, doctor, and ambulance services you get in a foreign country in these rare cases: You're in the U.S. when a medical emergency occurs, and the foreign hospital is closer than the nearest U.S. hospital that can treat your medical condition. You're traveling through Canada without unreasonable delay by the most direct route between Alaska and another U.S state when a medical emergency occurs, and the Canadian hospital is closer than the nearest U.S. hospital that can treat the emergency. You live in the U.S. and the foreign hospital is closer to your home than the nearest U.S. hospital that can treat your medical condition, regardless of whether an emergency exists. Medicare may cover medically necessary ambulance transportation to a foreign hospital only with admission for medically necessary covered inpatient hospital services. The one that covers you is Medigap, not Medicare Part A or B, or Medicare Advantage. It's not cheap either.

From the gubmint: Is TRICARE Prime Overseas Right for You? TRICARE Prime Overseas is only available to active duty service members (including activated Guard/Reserve members) and command sponsored family members. If you're on active duty you have to enroll in TRICARE Prime Overseas where its available. Family members must be command-sponsored to enroll. Family members who aren't command-sponsored or who choose not to enroll in TRICARE Prime Overseas may want to consider purchasing other health insuranceHealth insurance you have in addition to TRICARE, such as Medicare or an employer-sponsored health insurance. TRICARE supplements don’t qualify as "other health insurance.". Standard TriCare is not available outside the 50 states. .

One must realize that if they use Google maps, the actual location and/or address may be off. If you look for a business, address, or location on Google maps, and it's wrong, submit to Google using your Google account to fix it. It's not difficult. I fixed BigC in Pattaya 6 years ago. It was off by 500 yards/meters.

You are totally unaware that no American government insurance covers you here.

Medicare & other USA insurance don't cover outside USA.

I beg to differ. I get a free shower every day. I wear different clothes too, so they all get washed. Then? I'm good for another year.
