  1. Have you looked at Thantakrit on phetchaburi at all?
  2. Hope it was hygienic ! Depending on how deep she went, doesnt mean it wont come back in a couple of weeks.
  3. I'm personally a big fan of Rutnin too, and as with every hospital/place, if you go in at peak times, expect to wait. Appointments are always good to have in advance!
  4. I've mentioned this name before and still think they're the best around sukhumvit that I've found, unsure if pelvic floor dysfunction is their thing, but send them a message. BPC Physio on sukhumvit 39. They'ved helped me tremendously and I continue to see them for any little pains that i have. Again, unsure if they can do what you need, but it's worth a shot to ask.
  5. So PM 2.5 definitely plays a part in this, but the eye drops you use also play a part. Some of the cheaper brands are not as sticky, The stickiest ones I found and use and find very good is Vislube and at nights I use vidisic gel sometimes. They work out great!
  6. Another place to look at is on asoke in Bangkok, Rutnin Eye Hospital. If anything, to get a quotation to see what it would cost?
  7. I'm not certain here but Chula has some great surgeons who usually work in private hospitals but come and do surgery (at much more affordable prices) early morning and late evening (pre and post their private hospital requirements). Have you looked into this? Another one place that my thai friends love is Piyakarun hospital (Thonburi side) as Sheryl mentioned. I'm sorry that I'm not able to specify a doctor but I'm certain those would be good choices (budget wise).
  8. Finally got around to it and gotta say, I was impressed! Will definitely have a 2nd order soon.
  9. The pictures of Cast Iron Burgerhaus look amazing, but the reviews haven't been great, but now that I get first hand knowledge, I'm going to give it a try!
  10. All great advise really and lastly, I'd also work on some core exersises to make sure that the core is strong enough. Proper ergonomic chairs are expensive but given that you should be pain free and not have to pay heavy $ on surgery, therapy, medicine, is sometimes a great long term investment.
  11. I think the first answer is quite clear. It is truly up to you. 20 Baht may not mean much to you, but alot to the person you are giving. 100 Baht is also a very substantial amount and if you are really happy and you want to give more, it's your choice, you will make their day for sure!
  12. Not sure about 2 and 3, but number 1 is definitely phad krapow moo with fried egg!
  13. Can voice similar opinions. They were fantastic with the covid days of fit to fly, testings and so on. However, just keep in mind they also do not honor appointments as all major hospitals do not. So do not go in for a 2 p.m. expecting to be in to meet the doc at 2 p.m. However, I really like the fact that Dr. Donna will give you her true opinion and then send you your way to make your decision on what you can do. What is out of her reach, she will have some recommendations of where to go.
  14. I'm curious to know the benefits of these drops, anyone tried and have some things to share?
  15. How about Mark Leoni around onnut? He seems to get some good feedback around many folks too
  16. I've seen the sofitel have deals for buy 1 get 1 free late last year, it was 1299 ++, but if you're a plus one, that comes out to about 750/head
  17. Any thoughts on prime and beast and butter too?
  18. You can already buy melatonin in Bangkok (Lazada/Shopee) so I don't think you actually need to go through iherb anymore . Faster delivery as well!
  19. Another popular insurance for expats in Bangkok is pacific cross, works with all major hospitals as direct billing too. Just a thought to check out.
  20. You can catch a cold, and then if you catch a cold and start coughing, the thai folks aroudn you will look at you as if you have covid, and step away. ????
  21. I personally worked with Ploi and New and were happy with both. I started off with Ploi but she got busy on the dates i wanted to come, met New, and started rotating between the two. I actually had one other person on one go around when I booked in the day of, and honestly, was happy with her too, but for the life of me, i cannot remember her name. Good luck!
  22. Once they realized their mistake, they wanted their money before you walked out haha.
  23. i think anytime after 9 p.m. is a disturbance. and the OP was clear to say that they headed to bed so my guess is, it was after 9 p.m. anyways?
  24. ever looked at different areas of koh phangan or koh chang? Away from the regular tourist areas?
  25. I guess you mean BPC, recognize that number on my phone! I have used them for my back pain and have enjoyed great success with them as well. Best thing i liked was actually as everyone else has said above, you go to them, learn what you have to and go back and do it yourself if you are well commited. If not and you're like me, you go back and let them fix you up (i have insurance covering therapy so I didn't care about going back often)
