How to start a new free personal Gmail account
HuskerDo2 replied to scorecard's topic in IT and Computers
Yes, a burner phone. People these days are too easy when it comes to giving up their personal info. Then, after giving their phone number out they complain about all the spam calls they are receiving all of a sudden. I suspect you are young to question why someone would want to keep their phone number private. Young people just don't "get it" and that's part of the reason identity theft is so high. -

The only difference I see now verses setting up an acct in the past is that they want your phone number so they can send a code to it. More invasion of privacy and taking your personal info. Try getting a burner phone for a one time use. -
Corruption is rampant in all countries in politics and police forces. If the National Anti-Corruption Commission were to announce the were going to investigate police commanders you can rest assured that the commission would report that they found nothing as the commanders would slip them a bribe so fast you wouldn't believe it. Kind of like how the RTP police never find any hint of prostitute anywhere at any time.

Top Chinese scientist says don’t rule out Covid lab leak

After the govt hears about what he said he will probably disappear forever. It's what happens when you speak out against the Chinese governments tainted messages/lies and give your honest opinion. -
Phuket Governor Orders Investigation Over Underwater Painting

Anyone who believes this is real and not photoshopped is a moron. Then again, this IS Thailand and Governor Naroong Woonciew needs to slap himself back into reality. -
I was thinking of getting a tattoo of hair on my head as it has thinned a bit lately. I won't have to comb it and it'll always look good.

Make sure you get a good one with references. I have a good friend who had this type of surgery when he was in his early 20's and they cut a nerve and 40 years later he says there is still a lot of numbness down there.

Where would you retire -- if money wasn't an issue?
HuskerDo2 replied to gargamon's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
It depends on your lifestyle. I cannot imagine having a more comfortable life than I have now, and I have nowhere close to a million bucks. My pensions and Social Security leave me with more than $2,000 dollars left over at the end of the month after I've bought and done everything I want. That's without tapping my IRA. I live a simple life and love it. -

A college town in the middle of the USA nine months each year and then spend the winters in Hawaii, Thailand, Philippines, Central Florida, Phoenix and Monaco. -

"a place like Asheville North Carolina".... Asheville is one of the most beautiful places I've seen. Especially in the winter. The Biltmore Estate is amazing. Estes Park, Colorado and Monaco are the other two places I'd consider the most beautiful I've ever seen. "A few million isn't really rich."... It actually is, especially if your home is paid for. -
Mysterious disappearance of Thai monk stirs fears of foul play
HuskerDo2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
Before they start calling it foul play they should check to see if any money is missing. -
This is the most pathetic post I've seen in a long time. To admit you're too lazy to be like everyone else in the civilized world and go out and sit in a chair for 30 minutes to have your name called for a haircut. I can only imagine what a headache you are to most people. Living in LOS means having patience and not being a pain to people. Lighten up and try to assimilate in LOS. It's easy. Well, it is for most anyway.

There are pasteries everywhere and unless you make them the main course everyday a person will be fine. Lack of trans fats is a huge plus. The Mediterranean diet I refer to includes the following. Very healthy.... Lots of vegetables, fruit, beans, lentils and nuts. Lots of whole grains, like whole-wheat bread and brown rice. Plenty of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) as a source of healthy fat. A moderate amount of fish, especially fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids. A moderate amount of cheese and yogurt. Little or no meat, choosing poultry instead of red meat. Little or no sweets, sugary drinks or butter. A moderate amount of wine with meals -

Probably true but most likely they aren't gaining weight from unhealthy fast food and sugary drinks. Most of them likely eat a healthy diet. Just too much of it. The Mediterranean diet is well known and very healthy. Also, a person's genes plays into it. When you introduce greasy hamburgers and greasy, salty French fries and sugary drinks to a culture used to rice, beans, fish, pork and water they will gain unhealthy weight. -

Their lives have been "Westernized". Fast food, sugary drinks, Starbuck's, etc. It's happening in more and more countries where Western food is introduced. A few decades ago most Mexican people were slim. Then the fast food restaurants from the US (KFC, McDonald's, Starbuck's, 7-11, etc) made their way there and these days most look 30 - 70 pounds overweight. The fact is, it's easier to be fat than to stay in shape. Diabetes is off the charts. Obese people do indeed die younger than fit people. Just look around. How many obese people over the age of 70 do you see? Few. As far as being happy, weight doesn't matter. You're either a happy person or you aren't. Just ask Santa. He's happy and fat and laughs like a bowl full of jelly. HOHOHO!!! -
Not sure why anyone bothered to watch. You had to know what he was going to say. Same old rehash of the garbage he spewed for the last few years. He's obviously has a few mental issues. How many 76 year old men do you know that act like spoiled tantrum throwing children instead of the grandfatherly type? God help us during the election season.
