I have been experimenting with minimalist furniture in my place.
Minimalist furniture will give you more space.
Do you really need massive sofas which take up so much space in the living room?
Have you ever considered getting big floor cushions instead?
It gives the place a "bohemian look".
And then you can move the big floor cushions out of the way when you are not watching TV and plop down some yoga mats and turn the living room into a yoga studio.
Do you need a giant screen TV and massive wall unit for the TV?
You can try buying a movie projector. Will take up way less space.
It's not for everyone.
But if you are willing to experiment with the types of furniture, you can save a lot of space and you won't need to pay for such a large space.
