  1. I watched one of Dr. Rhonda Patrick's videos on Omega 3 a while back. As I recall, she recommended 4000 mg (4 grams) of Omega 3 daily. The cost alone of taking that amount of Omega 3 supplements is exorbitant. And I just felt there was something off about having to take so much Omega 3 supplementation, so I quit after only 1 week. If don't trust this doctor's recommendations, not sure who I can trust on how much Omega 3 I should actually be consuming.
  2. I wonder if it's a massive conspiracy of some kind. I don't know.
  3. just guessing. haven't tried it. automate Human Resources. Take a job description. Then put 100 resumes in ChatGPT and ask it to select the best candidate.
  4. how long does it take to make eggs benedict? how many ingredients are required?
  5. 18th century London breakfast: a pint of beer, bread, and cheese me: scrambled eggs. trick is to stir continuously
  6. read between the lines. no, just kidding. he did not.
  7. This is why I am not completely against the bar scene. Because many people are not capable of connecting with the level of genuine connection and emotional intimacy you describe or that is needed to sustain a long-term marriage, so marriages often end up being more about "things" than "emotions". I know it doesn't help much. I'm mostly just venting out loud. But ... is marriage outdated?
  8. they should have a mascot in the stores
  9. dont you worry. lot of people on this forum got stories.
  10. joke. i wasnt here 20 years ago.
  11. no, trawling the internet is better because I want to see the person behind the information and decide if the person is reasonably trustworthy based on all the content on his site, not just one article. info from chatgpt comes in a vacuum. you don't know where it's coming from. and most of it can not be trusted as with complex issues, there are multiple facets and conflicting information.
  12. did you notice the forum going downhill?
  13. He did educate himself. He studied under the tutelage of Stephen Pinker and Noam Chomsky. Stupid incomprehensible posts notwithstanding.
  14. cool short film ... check it out.
  15. andrew huberman is a scientist (neuroscientist at stanford) and admits that he meditates and prays and believes in god. also, he said the head of neuroscience at stanford also did. he says "if we don't believe in something bigger than ourselves, we at some level will self-destruct."
  16. I haven't read any of his books. If you have read his work AND you think sth he says benefits the general public, please feel free to summarize it succinctly.
  17. Your fixation on this one particular individual is stupid. There's a lot of intelligent people in the world. No need to fixate obsessively and incessantly like a groupie on Chomsky.
  18. you were being hostile towards lacessit. especially given that he has been your most loyal follower ... he's been in all your threads giving his viewpoints ... you're out of line.
  19. and the plastic surgeon of the year award goes to ...
  20. waste of effort. environmental pollution is a hoax. (sarcasm) this sounds like a great project! way to go, cambodia.

  22. I did a bit of research on that ... both are bad for the environment it seems, so they're coming up with new ways. there is actually a "green funeral company" in the UK. https://www.thegreenfuneralcompany.co.uk https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/jul/09/greener-way-to-go-eco-friendly-way-dispose-of-body-burial-cremation Burial uses too much land; cremation releases too much CO2. So what about composting our loved ones – or even dissolving them?
  23. no, not everything needs to have a point. good point.
