    it's very safe. just don't get drunk and act crazy in bars. be respectful and polite. most people speak some english in major tourist areas.

    i've stated it a million times on here. alcohol is a dangerous drug that often makes people violent. this happens in bars and nightclubs all over the world. nothing anyone can do about it except hire security.

    It's been like that since the beginning of time. In African tribes, women would get hitched up with the fattest guy because he obviously could afford to eat and she wouldn't starve. Only thing is women rarely state it explicitly. For the most part, going after a woman above your pay grade will end badly. But you can try your luck. There might be exceptions.

    The fact that he was knocked down so easily shows that he was heavily intoxicated. And the security guards usually dish out harsher beatings. Looks like they're easing up. And it's the first time I see another foreigner actually taking part in a group beating of a foreigner. Drinking is bad news. Makes you act stupid and aggressive and you can't even defend yourself.
