this morning no problem for me running errands. but i was told the 17th to 19th it will start from early morning. i have a thin raincoat from 7-11, plastic pouches for my wallet and phone, and sunglasses to protect my eyes. some of the guns people are using are quite elaborate. like really long range. it would only be fun at one set time in a designated area. not while you're running errands.

there's no choice in the matter. we need to consume products to survive. unless animals who don't need clothing or all the things we need to survive. capitalist system as we know it might/should probably end as too many things which help the economy are bad for us.

yes, AI could kill us all. and that would solve all problems instantly. no humans = no problems. but I suspect AI would like a good challenge, ie to figure out how to fix problems with the massive population. also, a highly intelligent evolved AI may not consider mass murder as "kosher". to be fair, Jingthing is not a troll. He has his views. And also to be fair, the tariffs are highly confusing and controversial causing fears in people's minds about how it will affect the economy. It's a fair topic. Not sure anyone is sure how the tariffs will play out.

Yeah, I've changed my stance on this whole thing and agree with you. I thought it was harmless fun, but I swallowed some water and got some water in my eye. I was afraid of getting an eye infection, which is possible with dirty water. And you have to wash your clothes. Minor inconvenience maybe, but not if it's multiple times over several days. Once is ok, maybe. It should be in designated areas only where people choose to participate. I got a cheap thin raincoat from 7-11 and I will also wear glasses to protect my eyes.
