It's hard to say what the likelihood of military agression would be. Anything is possible in this day and age. Trump is a rule-breaker. Carney is cozying up to Europe and moving away from the US. Wonder what that means.

One of the kids was Italian, another Bulgarian. It's not all Arabs/Muslims. It's just a bunch of kids behaving very badly. They need to be punished for the crimes. And no need to extrapolate this into a race war or turn it into a migration issue. When I was a kid, I witnessed a gang rape in a park. It has nothing to do with anything except some kids are not decent.

You raised some good points, but I'm out of this conversation now. We are not expected to get at the truth. Any shocking story will get clicks and it helps pay the bills for media outlets. What I get from all these stories is it's very dangerous to get sh*t-faced here. It can make you act aggressive and get yourself killed real quick.

Yeah , good points. I re-read the initial story and it does not make sense at all. It claims they followed him out of "concern or curiosity". This is highly implausible. You might be right in that there may have been other people involved who were a threat to his safety. Fact is, we don't know and we never will.
