No, it's not just stereotype. Certain tattoos placed in certain areas of the body can have certain psychological effects. Some men are using them to look intimidating. Mike Tyson might be one example. Just remembered the Mel Gibson film Apocalypto. It seems the Mayans had tattoos. They needed to scare off their enemies to survive.

I wonder if those ancient tribes used tattoos to instill fear in their enemies in battle. They can be unnerving, especially when they're on the face and neck. And maybe some people today are using tattoos for the same reason. I think it's a complex issue and maybe different people are using tattoos for different reasons.

But last time I checked, most people back home don't take their cats out and cats seem to be fine in apartments. I've seen people walk their cats on a leash. Seems silly.
