  1. Pretty much like most human authorities. Trusting AI blindly may lead to problems. But you can keep probing it and asking it questions to verify the accuracy. Just like with any other information. Personally, I am looking forward to having an AI medical assistant or health assistant ... but I won't necessarily trust it fully. I will also use my own logic and intuition and just use the AI for suggestions.
  2. That argument is highly flawed and nonsensical and non-practical and totally and utterly absurd. Some countries (many) have serious demographic issues ie low child birth. Killing off massive amounts of people indiscriminately through vaccines would collapse their countries. And the leaders would no longer have a country to rule. The world leaders would essentially make themselves redundant. They need a population to rule over.
  3. With all the tensions and war going on in the world, this sort of behavior is to be expected and it's naive to think it will never happen. I nearly got attacked in China once for no reason just because of the political tensions between the west and china. After all, if the news keeps repeating that China is an enemy of the west, you don't think a few chinese guys want to kick your head in when you're in their country? I nearly got attacked by a Moroccan guy back home for no reason. Maybe he's holding a grudge against westerners in general. You need to keep your wits about you and get out when you sense hostility, NOT expect people never to be hostile.
  4. Each religion has a "mystical branch", which is not the same at all as the common branch. For Islam, it's Sufis. These are the whirling Dervishes. They practice meditation. The poet Rumi, who wrote some wickedly cool poetry, was a Sufi. For Judaism, it's Kabbalah. Some rabbis are and have written interesting stuff, but it's not the conventional knowledge most people get from Judaism. And for Christianity, there are also some super smart dudes like Meister Eckhart. So it's not religion so much as the interpretations adopted by most followers that are the problem. And nobody reads these books by these super smart dudes. Nobody has time and it's too deep anyway.
  5. Ah yes, but if many people don't believe in God, why should they believe in the Devil, whatever that means? But yeah, I agree basically.
  6. Once I saw this guy on a bridge about to jump. I said, "Don't do it!" He said, "Nobody loves me." I said, "God loves you. Do you believe in God?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Are you a Christian or a Jew?" He said, "A Christian." I said, "Me, too! Protestant or Catholic?" He said, "Protestant." I said, "Me, too! What franchise?" He said, "Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Baptist or Southern Baptist?" He said, "Northern Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist or Northern Liberal Baptist?" He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region, or Northern Conservative Baptist Eastern Region?" He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region." I said, "Me, too!" Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1879, or Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912?" He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912." I said, "Die, heretic!" And I pushed him over.
  7. War may very well be a sign of desperation. But then again, they've been waging wars for a long time and the Empire hasn't fallen yet. It can also just be maintaining dominance and not letting other countries like China overtake them.
  8. One theory is this war is connected to the US Petro Dollar because China was starting to trade oil for Yuan with both Iran and Venezuela. So Trump is warning China to back off. If so, this corrupt US Petro-Dollar system needs to come to an end. Maybe it's time for a One World Global Currency.
  9. One incident doesn't matter. But govts do need to keep track of statistics. If a certain immigrant group is committing a disproportionately high amount of crime, that means there is a problem with the immigration policy or integration. Enough for me on this topic. Bye bye and nice job nabbing him.
  10. This guy's theory on the war in Iran: its not about nukes / ballistic missiles its not about regime change its about china because china was making deals with venezuela and iran, trading oil for Yuan to undermine the US Petro-Dollar. So Trump wanted to send a message to China to not mess with the Petro Dollar system. Also, Trump is meeting with Xi soon and will negotiate a bunch of things, so this attack gives him leverage. Plus, Israel has been itching to attack anyway Trump will throw Israel under the bus, withdraw US military and the Israelis will be left fighting with Iran
  11. How could that be possible? Like a free agent in sports?
  12. Saudi accusing UAE of being anti Islamic and too pro-Isreal Plus a bunch of other reasons they hate each other
  13. African American is commonly used. I don't think it's insulting to anyone, as far as I know. It's just categorizing. So in Europe, they don't do that apparently? Back home I was nearly attacked by a newly arrived immigrant from Morocco for no apparent reason. So what? Locals commit crimes too. But just saying. It's not completely insignificant.
  14. Right, bad wording on my part.
  15. people were displaced from the beginning for israelis to settle there. europeans did the same to the native indians, but govts have made reparations (to some extent) over the years. not endless violence.
  16. thats even worse than any anti-semitic comments on this forum. terrible sentiment. why are you so miserable?
  17. sorry, prime burger uses much higher quality beef. if you are willing to pay more. but mcdonald's is a scam. we've been eating low quality crappy beef that tastes like cardboard since we were kids. i am boycotting the place now.
  18. maybe you cannot control kids and they just copy what every other kid is doing. sorry, i dont have teenage kids in thailand. not sure how it works.
  19. why do girls pole dance and strip? to show off their bodies, stimulate the opposite sex. same concept. it's like belly dancing, but maybe more crass.
  20. Exactly. Since they are arguably under-paid, this is a good incentive. But if I had witnessed it, no way I would take the money from a mother who just lost her child. It's exploitation of someone desperate. But you can't blame the police or the average person from taking it.
  21. Judging his actions might be useful for any kids reading the forum so they can learn from his mistakes.
  22. This guy is predicting that Iran will be 1000 times better than it was and will be a booming economy with advanced AI in the next 2-5 years. Not sure if he's overly optimistic or how he draws his conclusions. The video is too long ... He is Iranian though so he knows the history of his country. But he may be right. I will take a break from all the "noise" of which bomb is falling where .... it may pass fairly soon and Iran may bounce back to be much better. And then Trump will look like a genius in 5 years if that happens.
