I've got a ADV 160 it's pretty good, perfect for Pattaya traffic but overall not a great scooter as I've ridden my neighbors Forza 350 and that's impressive. What is the Rolls Royce of 350cc scooters to buy in Thailand? I've got a couple of friends that love their Forza 350's. Another guy I know swears the Xmax puts the Forza 350 to shame. I'm looking to upgrade next year.

Thailand offers visa-free travel to Russian visitors for 3 months

Aren't most Russians that come to Thailand couples? They fill up the 29sqm condo, spend a little money(x2), and keep very quiet. -
Swiss Expat Critically Injured in Scooter-Car Crash in Pattaya

That Khao Talo intersection sucks! -
I looked at the customer reviews on gsmarena website and the Xiaomi Pad 6 is mostly very positive. I compared to Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which is getting outdated. The reviews are mostly "meh".

Yes, I just digged a little deeper it's not worth the risk. I want a 12.4 inch screen but hard to find a good price. Might just buy the 11 inch Xiaomi Pad 6 for 11,000 baht.

I see the Chinese version of Xiaomi pad 6S Pro 12.4(yes, 12.4) is available on some sites here in Thailand. It only works in Chinese and English but not Thai, which will anger my gf. However, the price is so damn cheap I'm really tempted to purchase.

Thanks, looks like you got a good deal. I wonder how the Oppo compares to the similarly priced Xiaomi Pad 6?

I see the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus is now on sale for 20,000 baht. I know Honor and Redmi tablets are cheaper but prob not near the quality of the S9 series

I was struggling in the West then came here and instead of spending 2500 Euros a month I'm now spending about half that. Plus, not having a car saves me even more. I'm really liking the savings here in Thailand.

I rode to Bangkok on my ADV 160 a couple of months ago. I set my nav to "motorcycle" and "no tolls". Going up was a bit dicey the first hour or so as I was nervous, lot's of speeding cars/trucks, and at times I was the only bike so I thought I was on the wrong road. Coming back was a lot easier/faster. Fun factor was very high.

I screwed up my planned trip to Vietnam
Furioso replied to Furioso's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
Yes, that's the website I used. Each time my card was rejected I had to completely start over..which was very frustrating. -
I decided to join my neighbor on his trip to Vietnam. He's German I'm American. I scheduled my flight and hotel online but deep down I knew I was forgetting something lol. Well, we get to Don Mueng and asked for my Visa, which I didn't have. My German friend did not need a Visa so off he went. I tried to get one online but both my U.S. and Thai cards got rejected. I could pay a higher fee to an agent but I think $105(instead of the normal $25) is too much. I guess I could go to the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangkok but it's a 3 hour drive and they'd probably want me to come back a day or two later I'd also have to pay more $$$ to change my flight and hotel and no I don't get any refunds. My American friend said he went with his Thai gf in Dec and he didn't need a visa but I should have known better in my case. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I was just talking about this to my friend the other day. I want 3 different accounts with 3 different currencies in case of emergency(i.e. the EUR or USD collapses). He said of course this can be done, all within the same bank but I'm not so sure. Example-my bank here in Thailand: One THB account One SGD account One CHF account Example-my bank in my home country: One EUR account

Help! I can't operate my Canton remote control anymore!
Furioso replied to Furioso's topic in Audio Visual AV
It's at least a work around. I normally like to use a separate remote. I've got a German friend coming to visit next month I don't think he'll mind bringing a couple of the cheaper knock off remotes, they cost approx 15-20 Euro's. The remote from Canton cost over 50 Euro's those bastairds! -
